Allegedly the son and
nephew of Jesus Labra Aviles who was the adviser and main financial operator of
the Cartel Arellano Felix in the 80s, were abducted Wednesday afternoon, in the vicinity of the Centro Caliente Agua
Caliente, in Tijuana .
Information obtained by
ZETA states that around 17:34 hours a "levantón" was reported on the
Sanchez Taboada boulevard in front of the Lázaro Cárdenas Federal High School,
to the shock of students, passers-by and motorists.
Witnesses said that a
white Suburban-type vehicle with tinted windows and several men, some with
guns, dressed in denim trousers, black jackets and with the letters
"PEP" in yellow, arrived at the site and took the two subjects who exited
a pick-up truck, gray color, which was abandoned on the site. According to the
documentation, the registration is named as Jesús Labra.
Jesús Labra Avilés,
arrested in Tijuana in 2000 and extradited to the United States in 2008, was
sentenced by a District Judge in San Diego to 40 years in prison for smuggling
marijuana and cocaine in the neighboring country.
Authorities
look for vehicles of alleged criminals
The Ministry of Public
Security requested the collaboration of the citizens, in locating the vehicles of
the alleged perpetrators, who participated in the abduction of two men occurring
this Wednesday afternoon in the vicinity of the Agua Caliente School, in the
Tijuana River Zone.
The vehicles used to
commit the crime are: Chevrolet Suburban model 2015, Chevrolet Impala 2008, and
Toyota Camry 2007, all are approximate years, and white.
The municipal
corporation states that the victims are relatives of the former CAF financial
operator, who is currently in prison.

Labra Avilés were released this morning by the command that abducted them, this Wednesday in the middle of the
River Zone. Sources from the PGJE commented that a close relative reported
unofficially about the release of Jesus and Marco Labra, who were intercepted
by members of a command in front of the Lázaro Cárdenas Federal High School.
Now paying for the sins of their fathers.
