Veracruz: CJNG threatens Zetas and commanders of SSP

In the early hours of this Friday, neighbors in the metropolitan area of ​​Veracruz Boca del Río alerted the police corporations about the appearance of blankets in which a message of organized crime aimed at their rivals and the Secretary of Public Security could be read.

It was around 4 a.m when motorists gave notice on the first canvas placed on the bridge located on the avenue with Xalapa Street, where police went to remove it.

According to the first reports, all the "narcomantas" contained a message with threats related to the events that occurred during the last hours and during the week.

The last hours of Thursday, members of the Civil Force and the Secretary of Public Security clashed with members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel on the federal highway 145-D La Tinaja-Cosamaloapan.

 It was at kilometer 17, where the soldiers were ambushed by gunfire from organized crime members, who killed a policeman, injured two more and left a patrol car and other vehicles burned.

The last of these "narcomantas" was placed on the road that crosses the Veracruz-Cardel highway, at kilometer 13.5 and contained exactly the same message.

In these tarpaulins, it could be read that the threat is directed at the commander of the SSP with the code name "Fisherman" who allegedly made the seizure of armament and tactical equipment in the municipality of Tierra Blanca hours ago, as well as the three killed in Misantla .

The aforementioned cartel cell said the commanders are in collusion with the rival Los Zetas group, in addition to having robbed the a/c units and windows of the ranch where the raid was made in Tierra Blanca.
