El Armadillo For Borderland Beat From ElementoOaxaca
The Financial Intelligence Unit of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) has blocked accounts for 3.4 billion pesos for activities related to alleged money laundering, corruption offenses, drug trafficking and theft of gas, Santiago Nieto Castillo, head of the agency, informed.
He also maintained that 38 complaints have been filed with the Prosecutor General of the Republic (FGR) to advance sentences on issues related to the issues above as well as others.
He said that the judgments are taking their legal course in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Administration and the Attorney General of the Republic, with the goal being that these cases are brought before the courts. On the issue of combating gas theft (huachicol), Nieto Castillo revealed that 900 million pesos related to the huachicol were blocked and the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) was given a view of 16 cases.
Does that mean things will get a whole lot worse before they get better?About time they took this action.
ReplyDeleteAmlo just trying to take heat off him for giving that La Chuky monster all her money back.
ReplyDeletePhelpso
Probably correct. A political ploy to please those masses. Doubt that any poetic jibberish can sway his bad decision.
DeleteGood post

9:47 it is a start, investigations are on going, including la Chaky, but the agencies investigating crimes of public corruption will have to take care of business, the executive does not prosecute investigate or punish criminals, unlike the US these days, on top of it, La Chaky seems to have helped on AMLO. campaign after EPN put her under arrest to steal and privatize public education, some big american foundation wanted to steal all that budget, forgetting that those billions in Mexico are peisos not dollars. But there will be time to try again, health care, huachicol, power generation, maseca chingao, even the nopales are being stolen by the Chinese, so little time and so much to steal.
DeleteSo blocked meaning forfeited and now lining the pockets of politicians who take mordida as well? The balls of these people. They narcos need to start killing these guys already.
ReplyDeleteGovernment and cartels are one. Finding replacements have never been an issue.
DeleteI think the narcos will start killing them because this is new before the narcos 'get the message'.Hope authorities stay the course although it will be tough hence does it get worse before it eventually gets better?
DeleteBlocked, is blocked, waiting for the Amparo to get released and gotten out of the country ASAP, PEOPLE been asleep at the wheel.
DeleteThe Cayman Islands and all the other Caribbean Islands handle trillions of dollars illegally moved around the world, to Sweden, hamburg, Germany, Ireland, England, China... Etc,

Hijueputa.
ReplyDeleteOf course Rafael Moreno Valle and governor wife had a lot of billions of peisos and dollars in banks, I hope they did not disappear them before their escape maestro.
The extent of corruption is so massive in Mexico. Its everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThe US is just as corrupt but they are number one in hiding it.
Delete7:36 some money is in US banks, some is in European banks, well most of it, Salinas de gortari and EPN escaped to Europe to be near their centavitos, and if money gets confiscated by those countries none will get back to the Mexican government ever.
DeleteThey just got their pigs fat.
That's it too much gunfire in Mexico, I am packing and leaving for Argentina. Yanqui you want to buy,buy my little Casita, made of hard clay, tin roof.
ReplyDelete1:26 la Yaqui ya tiene su Casita, de puras pallets nuevas de la gualmar con bolsas 'hevy dury' que usan pa los embolsados
DeleteThis is a good step in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteHowever, given the amount of corruption al all levels, are the criminals being targeted the ones not paying the “piso” to the corrupt politicians, overseeing the intelligence apparatus in Mexico?
Using the power of the state to weaponize banking laws to freeze or confiscate funds, against a Cartel adversary wouldn’t be surprising.
