Morelos: Narcomanta message left for bar owners in Cuernavaca

Yesterday through Social Networks users shared the image of a narcomanta directed at Yectli Miranda, owner of the bars Bull and Sophia, the latter recently attacked by a group of armed subjects that left a balance of a dead woman and nine injured .

In the message addressed to Yectli Miranda it can be read that they accuse him of drugging women in their nightclubs to later abuse them, where they also detail that these places are drug outlets. The narcomanta was signed by the Old School, name that has been related to Los Zetas in some points of the Mexican territory, although until now it is unknown if it is one of its cells or it is another criminal organization

It must be remembered that last Thursday, February 28, four individuals opened fire on employees and customers of the Sophia bar, located at the corner of Domingo Diez and Paseo del Conquistador streets of the Maravillas neighborhood in Cuernavaca, Morelos. According to the State Attorney General's Office, the attack occurred at 23:45 and it is presumed that after firing without a specific target, the attackers fled in a white Seat León car.

The injured persons were transferred to different hospitals but the body of the only mortal victim wasn’t lifted by the elements of the Expert Services until 4:00 on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Lorena Vargas, eighteen years old, daughter of the Director of Personnel of the Institute of Basic Education of the State of Morelos (Iebem), Rafael Vargas Larios. Local media reported that among the wounded is the brother of the victim, Rafael, who is stable, and a friend of the same, Atziri, 25, who is reported in serious condition at the Parres General Hospital.
