Mexico City- Deovaldo Gutiérrez Alfaro, member of the
criminal group "Los Patrón Sánchez", dedicated to drug trafficking to
the United States, was detained for the purpose of extradition to that country,
which has been investigating him since 1995 for drug trafficking and carrying a
weapon.
The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic
(FGR) announced that in compliance with a request for compliance with the
Extradition Treaty signed between Mexico and the United States of America, an arrest warrant was completed in the state of Nayarit.
Elements of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM)
executed the warrant issued by the Special District Judge in the Accusatory
Criminal System, Administrator of the Federal Criminal Justice Center in Mexico
City, based in the South Preventive Prison.
The detainee is required by the Federal Court for the
Western District of Texas, to be prosecuted for his probable responsibility in
the crimes of criminal association, money laundering and
possession of a firearm.
According to the prosecution, agents assigned to the General Directorate of International Police
Affairs and Interpol, detained the fugitive, without using violence or
affecting third parties, with respect at all times of their human rights.
On September 2, 2017, it was announced that Armed
Forces of the Navy, killed Juan Francisco Patrón Sanchez "El H2", a Plaza leader of the Beltrán Leyva brothers, in the Linda Vista
neighborhood of Nayarita.
