VERACRUZ, MX .- Elements of the National Guard on Saturday achieved its 'first blow' against crime in the southern part of the state by rescuing a minor from a kidnapping, reported the Ministry of Public Security, according to information from El Financiero.
This security force released the boy in the municipality of Coatzacoalcos, a day after the official coordination of the National Guard was officially deployed.
The location of the safe house was given after a report to the emergency number 911, so that elements of the National Guard were able to arrive at the place indicated.
The minor was kidnapped on Friday and was held by his captors at that site.
According to a statement released by the Secretary of Public Security, in the operation the National Guard and the State Police also seized two kilos of marijuana and a vehicle with a report of theft.
The drugs and the secured vehicle were presented to the Attorney General of the State of Veracruz so that the necessary investigations are carried out and those responsible are taken into account.
"The young man said that he was intercepted by four individuals who were traveling aboard a white Nissan Tsuru vehicle with license plate # YKN-5271, in which they took him to that home," he said.
The deployment of the National Guard in the south of Veracruz occurred after an armed group on April 19 broke into a party in Minatitlan and massacred 13 people.
Let's see if National Guard, can do better in cleaning the city, of lowlife hoodlums.
