Jesús Tomás Alvarado Chávez, alias "El Lagarto", presumed plaza chief of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) in Minatitlán, Veracruz, was arrested early Thursday in Escárcega, Campeche, by state authorities, in coordination with the Federal Police (PF), and was riding in a red Sedan vehicle. "El Lagarto" was a employee of Pemex, as was "El Pelon", already in custody.
He is also known as "El Jarocho", Alvarado Chavez is designated as one of the material and intellectual responsible for the massacre of the municipality of Minatitlán, Veracruz, which took place on April 19 at night, in which 13 people died, among them a child under 1 year of age.
On May 5, Federal and Veracruz State forces captured a brother of "El Largarto", identified as Ernesto Alvarado Chávez, alias "El Mingo". Two days before, the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) also arrested Adrián Fernández Fernández, "El Pelón", an employee of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).

The latter was called by the Government of Veracruz "the head of the CJNG in Minatitlán". Governor Cuitláhuac García Jiménez announced that the capture was caused by an arrest warrant issued by a federal judge, which was executed by federal and state forces.
Elements of the Agency of Criminal Investigation (AIC) arrested "El Pelón", when leaving the industrial complex of the Pemex facilities, known as Pajaritos. With the apprehension of "El Lagarto" three men have now been arrested for the crime of the assassination of 13 people who were killed in the Palapa Restaurant at a party, now known as the Minatitlán Massacre in the state of Veracruz.

ReplyDeleteThis just doesn't add up. The he/she jumped from Zetas to Jalisco, somebody takes out the whole fam. Why would Jalisco take out somebody they need at the moment. Most of their moves are done with the intent to make little noise so why do this and make unnecessary noise? They are being set up. Makes no sense.
