CIUDAD JUAREZ. - The extortions have returned with force to the city and have set the commercial sector to tremble.
There are many small businesses and clubs that are forced to pay extortion fees by criminal groups that threaten to kill them or burn their business.
Paleteria La Michoacana had to close 11 branches and its owner left the city with his family.
Police sources reported that the businessman decided it was better to leave Ciudad Juarez and look for new horizons in the United States.
"You can’t make progress here anymore," he told prosecutors.
Those who suffer the most from the situation are the modest neighborhood merchants, who obtain little profit and have to share their business with criminals in the area who charge them a periodic fee.
The shopkeepers have to choose between closing or working for the underworld.

Why flee? Rather than accepting the reality of either living in constant fear and suffering or stand up and fight. Good citizens outnumber those criminals. Do what many people are doing in towns and communities in Mexico. Added with the protest and resignation of your elected officials for the lack of security.
ReplyDeleteAlways the same outcome; the encouragement given to these criminals by its people. Only enriching their egos and political interests.
This accessibility of weapons for criminals are available to them as well.
Stop whining about crime and do something about it already. Kill em all.
6:37 it is easy to be a Poser, you as a businessman can bitch with extortionists, UT how are you going to defend your workers? They are all by themselves on the street, and none of them will be the first to die at the hands of these criminals. There have been many murdered, and you and your stupid ideas never helped any of them.
DeleteSorry, but everything about your statement is completely ridiculous, and ludicrous. Come on back down to earth. Why flee? Maybe because they have families to feed, and don't want to risk getting killed. Sure they have access to the same type of weapons, but most don't have the resources needed to obtain them. Lastly, it's to difficult to try and organize enough people to even try to fight to criminals.
Deletejust sad!!!
ReplyDeleteCjng extorting innocent citizens
ReplyDeleteCjng is everywhere apparently lol
DeleteNext thing you know La Linea will be blamed for this once again.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is Federal Police and fuckin soldiers have been sent to patrol the city once again. You can't trust these fuckers at all!
Well said. This started again once these Federales showed up!
Deleteughhh to hell with extortionists.. bola de mugrosos killing their city. ojala y les caiga la pelona uando menos esperen ya los puedo oir

stfu!.. damn extortionists just thinking about them makes me wanna throw up with disgust bola de mugrosos
I was behind the door to see it. He was shown fotos of his ninas walking to primeria two cuadrditas from his casa when they came at night. La gente somehow thinks los vengazas come at work. Or by llalamdas. No they come at home. Then there comes terror to see sus ninos. This comes because the police have no protection for you. They solve maybe one for fifty murders and deterner maybe 2 from 5 suspects correctly. Carros robados are solved maybe five in a hundred when the police take the wrecked car to the carralon. When a person is robbed on the street the police come only after they are sure the robber is safely gone. A person never goes to a cajero automatico alone. And never at night. A friend found people stealing the entire machine. Then huachicoleros ask you if you wish comostible for diez pesos por litro. The truck moves every night and the police do not go far from the comandancia at night. What is to happen? Purchase alimentos through a coyote?
ReplyDeletea failed state, that is what Mexico is.
ReplyDeleteWhich state is failing? Mexico has many states.
Delete10:16 El Estado is the whole country too, or its government but some representatives are politicians who claim "they represent the people" of their state or of their whole country, neither is true, they only represent their greed and they have to be paid.
DeleteWhat a disgrace, shops forced to close due to hoodlums, wanting to run the streets, please don't tell me it's the baby killer cartel at it again.
ReplyDeleteWord from juarez is anything having to do with jalisco or michoacan is getting ran out!!! Just reporting from streets of juarez
ReplyDeleteStop lying, Juarez has always taxed the stores and shops. There's many stories from years back similar to this one!!!!!
DeleteIt's always been the smaller opportunist gangs doing it in the name of bigger groups
DeleteArm forces need to do a purge on Mexico.
