Empalme, Sonora - The person who was located dismembered inside an ice cooler in Empalme was identified as Marco Antonio Velázquez García
An individual by the name of Marco Antonio Velázquez García was found inside an ice chest on the outskirts of an elementary school located in the Jordande Empalme neighborhood.
He was a resident from the Kilometer 2 sector of the coastal city. He had appeared in several videos in which he was interrogated concerning the execution of several young people aboard a red Jetta.

The body of the deceased was identified by the father, who went to the Forensic Medical Service, immediately identifying his missing son.
It was commented that due to the conditions in which the body was found, his relatives made the decision not to hold a viewing, so he will be cremated, as soon as he is handed over by the authorities.
According to witnesses, around 7:10 a.m., masked men came aboard a white Jeep Cherokee, left the cooler at the main entrance of Cuauhtemoc Elementary School, then fled at full speed.
