The coordinated work between the attorney general's office and the Attorney General's Office (FGR), to resolve the double homicide that occurred in Plaza Artz, allowed us to establish that the possible motive for the murder of Alon Azulay and Benjamin Yeshurun Sutchi was a difference that the victims they had with the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación  (CJNG), a criminal group for which, according to the investigation, they were laundering money.

Advances in this case reveal that the Israelis had companies established in the states of Oaxaca, Puebla, Guanajuato, Querétaro and in Mexico City, which were apparently used to launder money to the organization based in Jalisco.

A scan on cell phones and the movements of the companies they had suggests that the Israelis tried to steal or scam the criminal group.

The messages found in the cell phones of the deceased detail that it was those of Jalisco who made an appointment with Alon Azulay and Benjamin Yeshurun Sutchi, so that the hit men knew the time and where they would be; There is even a message in which the two subjects were opposed to holding the meeting, but in realizing that it would be in a public place they agreed.

This version was confirmed after analyzing in detail how the gunmen operated, both at the main entrance distracting the security of the outside, and inside the restaurant, where they killed the Israelis.

The authorities also identified the presence of a command with hierarchical importance within the structure of CJNG  coordinating everything at a distance, within the plaza. His face was videotaped and it is known that after the killings he left the City.

On the participation of the two subjects that initiated the shooting in the access of the  Plaza Artz it was established that they are people from the capital of the Republic, who knew the possible escape routes.

In this regard, the attorney Ernestina Godoy announced that they have identified the alleged accomplices who participated in the killing of the Israelis and revealed that they are not foreigners involved in the shooting that occurred last Wednesday at the mall.

"What Mexican crime group is related in the case of  Plaza Artz ?" Godoy Ramos was asked at   the end of the patrol delivery ceremony at the Benito Juárez mayor's office.

The official indicated that the collaboration with international entities continues, in order to know the history of the two subjects of Israeli origin who were killed within 24 seconds within said square, as well as the alleged companion that is observed in videos of the cameras of security.

“We have some identification [of those who participated in the murder]. We begin to see results of the experts [of the car we found] and that will allow us, along with the images, to follow up who they were. We are crossing the information with intelligence from the Israeli embassy”; she added that they are identified, but whereabouts unknown.
