Drone footage of the Abuelo vs Mencho battle yesterday in Tepalcatepec, Michoacan

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat TY Gus and USA22X

Policía Comunitaria Tepalcatepec

“The united people will never be defeated.  El Abuelo is not a person, El Abuelo is a people, El Abuelo is the idea that it is possible to live without cartels.”

Video recorded after the confrontation with the Jalisco cartel below.

In the video, footage recorded by a drone, dozens of trucks and community members  gathered at the entrance of the town, moments after the shooting that yesterday left 9 dead and 11 injured. The CJNG convoy consisted of 6 trucks.

(Lyrics) "El Cambio" - Noel Torres - YouTube

Today we are going to fight for our people,
because the brave thing that makes me proud
I am a Michoacano
I already hung my weapon,
and today I have become a community ...
A people of hope and good people,
and in all good things, we all know
that there is evil,
we go through "El Cambio"  [change]
because we are tired of all this ...
Today we are going to fight for the rights
we deserve .
Because even the government makes us blind.
But to motivate us came our leader,
called “El Abuelo”... [The grandfather]
The united people will not be defeated
Here we have plenty of reasons  to reveal ourselves
We are not violent but we will fight until we are free ...
Already tired of injustice
we rise up in arms.
and pray we are in a revolution.
Ready to give our lives
for the people and the family.
For the cause we will fight with honor...
Pray for those who died.
That in life they gave--
while they defended their land and their homeland
with their heads held high,
fighting for the entire race ...
We are not going to give up our weapons to our government-- to be honest
there is no longer  trust, they did not respond to  us, they did not support us
when they were needed ...
Again, we fight for the future
and we are sure
that sooner or later calm will come
but for now we invite everyone
to join the cause ...
The united people will not be defeated
again I tell them there are
plenty of reasons to reveal,
and here we will continue to not give up until we are free ...
With our heads very high
and our weapons under our arms,
we are going to make our voice heard
by the Michoacan people,
we go "Los Comunitarios"

hoping that tomorrow will be better ...

  1. CJNG are the dead guys---Tepeque community patrol protecting the community- although this lasted for hours, no military or police in sight

They arrived after the fact with the sec of security saying "all is now under control"

    Laughable at best

With all of the threats you would think the government would have flooded the area at the first hint. Mexican government is a joke. Can’t blame for the locals for defending their town.

When I told him my family was from Tepalcatepec, he immediately said. “Los de Tepeque so barvos.” I told my Pops and uncles and they just smiled. Remember Los Templarios se sentaron cuando trataron de extorsionar y matar a los de Tepeque. Ay huevos de sobra. Same shit will happen here Mencho f@cked up trying to mess with Tepeque. He’s gonna regret this fight. Puro Purépecha! Razos nunca se rajan!

Mr ASSad is only in power because of Persia and the Soviets. if not the kingdom of his Dictator father would have been over by now. So, I think the Sunni rebels, are less worse than the Shias, from who ASSad belongs.. I dont see Saudi arabia (100% sunni) messing with anyone in the ME.or abroad

Less than 24 hours ago Saudis bombed a prison in Yemen. Did you not hear of the reporter Jamal Khashoggi and what happened to him at the Kings order? Don’t forget ISIS was Sunni, and Saudi Arabia originally backed them. Persia? Do you still call Russia the USSR? 5. That was completely 100% an ambush. Looks like CJNG (if it’s the bodies) tried to set up a bloqueo on the outskirts of town and looks like the “police” knew exactly where.

I say “police” because vehicle and equipment to dead body ratio is way off. There’s a lot of bodies missing. Most likely alive, tied up few miles away. Some might have hightailed into the jungle. But they won’t make it far.

    1. Not quite accurate, the Mexican constitution provides autonomy for indigenous peoples to establish their own government and police if the government is not doing so. Such as the case in Michoacan. Which is the foundation for the AD movement.
Where they got in trouble and was a gray area in the law, was the carrying of weapons and policing outside their communities.

      Delete
    2. True but all Michoacan auto defensas got dismantled or joined a cartel or group of narcos like the LMFM , viagras, valencias, Abuelo s even some went to CJNG do at the end the locals are the ones with tied to the local cops. Of course they are just going to call them selves cops

It reminds me on how everybody was scared of zetas and how they looked unstopable and then they had a huge topon with cdg in florencia zacatecas, with cdg taking out like 60 zetas. From there on zetas started to decline. It looks like history is repeating itself.

    3. They could not enter Michoacan because the Zetas are the ones who showed La Familia bosses how to set up the guardia in Michoacan years before when they use to be good friends with El Chango Mendez... and CDG were not able to defeat the Zetas in Zacatecas when Z-50 had it under control NEVER! once Z-50 gave up the plaza then F-1 from CDG controlled it officially. 60 dead Zetas though? lmao if you don't have a link quit making up shit

They thought that buy keeping a distance between vehicles in there convoy that would be safe but they were wrong. I say around 170 to 400 villagers were waiting for them.

    1. 4:58 PM Spacing out the vehicles wasn't going to help them when they were getting hit from the big ole hill on their left shooting at them hitting the engines and then they have people on the right hiding near the river. Plus they got hit from behind. If some managed to escape their only escape was up the hill to the left and run for their life's.

Who ever sent them just wasted their lives. You can tell they rushed in instead of taking their time to clear the area before trying to push they didn't jump out and flank the sides they jumped out of the vehicles once they started taking fire by then it was to late.

El abuelo is old school capo but with no exposure, low key like many michoacan capos we most likely will never here about..
There was one capo from michoacan that was really cool with the oldschool Sinaloa capos. he preferred to stay in michoacan and wasn't interested in flashy things. I forgot his name, there was a story i read a few months and it read that capos from Sinaloa would go visit him in his ranch in michoacan frequently.I can't find the story but my point is this, there is no way mencho will take michoacan tierra caliente region because there are low key capos..

Their were many others he was the Don of Michaocan.

Carlitos Rosales never forgave the Valencia and made it his mission to kill as many as he could. Many drug traffickers on that list eventually went to war with each other or were killed by Los Valencias and their associates while Carlos Rosales killed the majority of the fathers of El Cartel de Los Valencias and kicked them out of the state.

This is how you know Los Valencias killed him to take what he had created. Page 8 at the bottom.

I also believe Los Cunnis and Mencho were also ratted on close to that time as well hence why they eventually betrayed Luis Valencia Cornelios offspring.

Their is a picture of him with Arturo Beltran Leyva but I can't find the video where it was at.

The Original Torcidos were the Valencia Cornelios Carlos Rosales, Mencho and Los Cunis just returned the favor. Mencho returned the favor Don Chuy gave him by sparing his life by getting La Tuta and all the templarios that betrayed him. They are the one's responsible for the war that started in Michaocan.

    9. The Valencia vs Carlos Rosales war started over a female, Ines Oseguera; Menchos cousin.
At the time Rosales had Osiel Cardenas backing witch led to Golfos, Z’s invading
      Michoacán.
Valencias looked for allies and found them in the Sinaloa Federation, but fled from Michoacán.
Nearly 15 years later, Mencho collected his and the Valencia’s debt, murdering Rosales
In Uruapan by the hands of one of CJNG associates; El Cenizo Rentería.

    12. 5:46 PM Carlos Rosales was already at war with the Valencia's before the 2000s to be exact in 1994. Carlos Rosales never set foot in Michoacan for at least 5 years. Mencho wasn't the one that killed Carlos Rosales it was either the Viagras or El Cenizo Templario. The people who benefited the most with his death were the Viagras as Carlos Rosales was the boss in the territories they control in Guerrero. How was Carlos Rosales going to go to war for a vieja when he wasn't even in Michoacan.

      Come close,

      Are you mentally challenged?
This isn’t my “personal opinion or assumptions”.
Carlos Rosales himself told a journalist whom he was locked up with at the time, why the war with the Valencia’s had started(the journalist did write a book were he explained the situation)
Over Ines, Carlos wife at the time and Menchos cousin.
Inés betrayed Carlos , With Luis Armando (a) El Maradona and it was war after that.
That led to the incursion of Z and Golfos to Michoacán territory as Carlos and Osiel were very close at the time. Carlos had always been in Michoacán, and after the Valencia’s fled he had a tighter grip in the state till his capture.

No mencho did not kill him personally TONTON, but all groups in Michoacán at the time were under CJNG bannner from approximately 2011-2012 till 2015-2016
The includes splinter CT groups and AD groups(the good and the bad) when Rosales was killed he was summoned to a meeting with AD and Viagras and Cenizo who was and is a CJNG associate killed him I’m sure on behalf of Valencia’s/Mencho.

Read a book or two bruh it helps.

And US Michoacános are worried about
      Cjng tryna kill another criminal?
Let them shoot it out —esos son problemas de hombres—- aslong as the community don’t get involved(witch they are) we shouldn’t have no innocent casualties, Jalisco has made it clear
The problem is with Abuelo not the Pueblo.

    2. CJNG is a different kind of devil for sure. But Michoacan is a different kind of foe. My sense is Mencho misread Tepeque but will send in heavy arsenal at some point. and there will be a slaughter.

People do not understand But essentially the movement cares nothing about Mich and allows whoever is in power[org crimes] to conduct atrocities at will same in Gro. Th reason is obvious or should be.

Lesson 1: Question asked of me "why is it ok for this band of narcos to fight cjng and be called heroes? they are the same.

Well not quite. an its complicated---

While it is very true abuelo and his family are long time narcos, and the group protecting the town are comprised of narcos, it is equally comprised of townspeople. The gob will not help, I mean have you seen them show up? so they turn to someone that has proven to be trusted---abuelo is that person. He protects innocents and the town. people love him for that, they know drug trafficking is wrong, but they overlook that fact in the name of survival.

BTW the ambush from the hills is a 'go to' method of attack in Michoacan. Tuta used it against autodefensas. Once trapped in the 'valley' belowm it is like shooting fish in a barrel. another advantage is the impossible terrain of the sierras, which is very difficult to navigate. the military has never quiet figured it out. That is why Nazario had two lives and Tuta was only caught for going off the mountain for some chocolate birthday cake.

Do you, or anyone know if Gallito, Nazario's nephew, is still at the helm? I hear almost nothing about what he is doing.

He sure has a strong resemblance to his uncle

    5. Chivis, with all the wars CJNG is in at the moment are they really in the position to be fighting the towns of Michoacan. I’m from there and all the towns are modest sized and everyone tends to know each other so it’ll be hard to infiltrate the small ranchos and those ranchitos have only few entrances where any vehicle could reasonably enter through. Which means whoever is in charge can easily set up ambushes and the threats of armored cars are minimal since they could be blocked off with cars and have their wheels shot out causing them to be nothing but metal death traps. Even if Mencho wins this war he’ll have lost way more than he won if he simply didn’t initiate this war. Seems he’s a hot head and can let it blind his reasoning. El Abuelo seems to have competent soldiers and the townspeople that aren’t necessarily in the narco business will fight with them to defend their town because it is obvious if Mencho wins there will be massacres and many innocents tend to get caught up in those situations. Seems he’s in a lose-lose.

    6. Hill-top ambushes have been recorded throughout history
Infact a couple years ago Jalisco
Did the exact same thing between 2014-2016(don’t remember exactly what date, year)
They ambushed the policía-estatal were about 15 policemen died.

    9. That's a very good point Chivis about the ambush from the hills. I suspected this was a possibility due to the spacing of the trucks and the way they were parked.

If they just had kids on the hills every 100 yards with molotov coctails they could utterly destroy any convoy coming in

      Delete
    10. 1:16 you absolutely understand and know the environment. It is as tho each town is autonomous out of necessity. the AD movement crossed those lines uniting towns which gave them strength. As such they were able to knock off their list of priorities at a good clip, then the gob stepped in and annihilated AD, creating a legal band of bandits and destroyed the AD movement. Next they had to arrest and remove from Mich Doc M. Mission accomplished. AD movement killed and deeply buried.

I am certain Doc made a deal with the gob not to become involved with AD because he doesn't even report what is happening in his home town of tepeque on his twitter, it is all about politics.

If mencho really wants this small town on the middle of no where, he would pay up the government to go in and disarm the locals, even use the same government as way to infiltrate his sicarios inside the town.
