The harsh accusation of the Cartel del Golfo to the Governor of Tamaulipas: “We gave you millions of pesos”. With narcomantas, the criminal organization accused Francisco Javier García Cabeza de Vaca has breached his word of allowing them to operate and stop their rivals from competing for the plaza.
This weekend several blankets appeared in different areas of the city of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, allegedly signed by the Cartel del Golfo, with threats against Governor Francisco Javier García Cabeza de Vaca and his brother, Senator Ismael García Cabeza de Vaca.
The governor's campaign was allegedly funded by the Gulf Cartel in exchange for having control of Tamaulipas Plaza and preventing the CJNG from arriving; now they call him a traitor.

"After we gave you 10 million for the campaign of your brother Ismael García Cabeza de Vaca and 5 million for yours now you go out doing crap," is written on one of the blankets.
According to the information that has been released so far, narcomantas were found during the early hours of Saturday in busy areas of the municipality of Reynosa, so there was an intense mobilization of police elements to remove them and make them available to the State Attorney General's Office to carry out the corresponding investigations.
According to the photographs disseminated by local media, the governor and his brother are accused in the blankets of having received more than 15 Million Pesos to carry out their political campaigns, under the promise of allowing them to operate and detain members of cartels opposed to the Cartel del Golf.
The messages also accuse the governor of having breached his word, since at the end of April 2017, when federal elements killed a member of the Cartel del Golfo identified as Juan Manuel Loza Salinas, aka “El Toro” .
"Through "Commander Toro" they received millions of dollars and then they murdered him (El Toro) the filthy bastards they are and they let us get attacked by the group of criminals of "CAIET" but we will see each other soon, we do not forget anything ..... ".
On another of the blankets, the Cartel set a period of five days for the governor to remove the criminal investigation police or otherwise they, the police , ie, will be attacked.
After the canvases were found, there was an intense mobilization of police elements to remove them and make them available to the State Attorney General's Office.
Local media point out that it is not the first time that such threats appear against the governor and his brother, however, the authorities have not given an official position on the messages.

DeleteThe only thing on the governor's mind is the millions he made off the cartel and the comfy pension he's going to get from the government after he finishes his term. He's going to retire somewhere in the east Coast of USA with his family. The cartel is out millions and their leaders rotting away in a cemetery or prison cell. The politician always wins.

DeleteIt was likely just 15Mn pesos from El M42's pocket alone, as he is the primary reference. He was the head of CDG in Reynosa at the time, leading the Metros faction which also controlled Frontera Chica.
DeleteOther CDG contributors to those campaigns would have been pooled from other notable commanders in other important plazas. Such as the Rojos in Tampico, Ciclones in Matamoros, etc.

He's trying to remove governors from tamps and guanajuato for their alleged inaction in security in those states yet saying or doing nothing about insecurity in states controlled by Moreno government.
