BB followers were in discussion about Chino Anthrax [José Rodrigo Aréchiga Gamboa] which prompted me to write this update.
Chino is not found on
the BOP inmate search. This is probably
either because he has not been sentenced, or in Marshall’s protective
custody. If in Marshall’s custody an
inmate is not found on BOP website.
On June 17, 2019, Judge
Sabraw [San Diego] postponed Chino’s sentencing yet once again to next month.
The new sentencing date
is October 17, 2019 at 3PM.
Chino was arrest at an airport in the
Netherlands as the aircraft he was riding in landed. Initially, there was no word who was arrested
but rumors spread quickly it was a high profile Mexican organized crime
arrest. The United States confirmed,
later that day, that the arrest was in fact Chino Anthrax.
He was travelling under
the pseudonym of Norberto Sicairos García. In his possession he had two cell
phones, a Blackberry and IPhone, several credit cards, a Mexican drivers
license, passport, both is the alias name, and three airline tickets.
He was identified by the
United States using forensic testing. He
is reported to having undergone plastic surgery to alter his appearance and
altered his fingerprints.
He was extradited to
San Diego to face charges, with the assistance of Interpol, Mexico was not notified
until after the transfer.
In May of 2015 he
entered a change of plea and entered into an agreement. The details of that agreement have been
sealed since then.
Since then, there have
been continuous postponements of sentencing.
The latest is the hearing scheduled next month.
Four years of
postponements is very unusual.
He faces a sentence of
10 years to life.

Sicario 006 is a Sinaloa legend. Many wars have been resolved with his elite unit. They get caught snitch out the adversary and back out for the next mission. He’s praised as the top sicario and most reputable.
