A shipment of 780 kilograms of crystal meth, heroin, opium gum, fentanyl in pills and powder, cocaine and clonazepam tablets, hidden in 4,800 cans of “Jumex” brand juice, was discovered by soldiers at the El Rosario military revision checkpoint, in the south of the municipality of Ensenada.
Within the 4,800 cans of juice were found various synthetic drugs such as crystal, heroin, opium gum, fentanyl in pills and powder, cocaine and clonazepam tablets.
In a statement, the 67th Infantry Battalion announced that on September 25, within the framework of the “El Rosario II” operation, 4,800 cans of fruit juice, containing various synthetic drugs, as well as a white Volvo truck tractor trailer, and the driver were stopped and searched at the military revision checkpoint on Mexico #1.
When they were at the town's military security post, the soldiers observed that a tractor-trailer vehicle traveling from south to north approached the area of the post's review; the driver was told that a search would be conducted.
After an exhaustive search, it was detected that the juice cans contained various synthetic drugs, so the vehicle and drugs confiscated and a civilian was detained after the search was carried out, in order to carry out the corresponding procedures for making all available to the Tijuana authorities.
According to the Army, with this confiscation the distribution of one million 560 thousand doses of drugs was avoided.
Someone’s head is gonna literally roll.
ReplyDeleteGrazie Yaqui for this post. I'm extremely pleased that the military stopped the fentanyl pills and powder from getting to the US.Addicts will continue to use drugs. It's the kids who buy stuff off the street, fake Roxy's etc.that really troubles me the most. Grazie again for all you do. Peace.
ReplyDelete7:02 why don't you use your other name TG?
DeleteGreat Job !!! The real HERO'S of today. Many lives saved.
ReplyDeleteThey’ll (mex military) most likely resale it to its original owner for more $$$. Sell it for themselves $$ or sale it to the competition $$$. Thats how the BC Gov works.
DeleteThats a big hit!!!$$
ReplyDeleteHow much more of these drugs are actually getting through our borders everyday? These open borders for commerce has had a devastating impact in our communities. All for the sake of the dollar.
ReplyDeleteUntil all cargo is throughly inspected expect the same result. That along with the demand for drugs in the US.
Blame lawmakers for not imposing what's needed.
Our post office has yet to implement the US requirements from shipments of drugs from China. FedEx and others have met requirements long ago.

DeleteOnly the juice cans that say 'Nectar' ... the cocaine will not be the real thing.
