Julio César Aguilar García, aka "El Vaquero", is one of the two fatal victims of the shooting on Friday outside the pantheon of the Colonias Nuevas settlement in the Mexicali valley.
Well-known operator of the SInaloa cartel, in the municipality of San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora and the rural area of Mexicali, linked to Ismael Zambada García “El Mayo”, had regained his freedom and today he was killed along with one of his name collaborators Rodolfo Antonio Galindo, aka "El Chupacabras."
In the most acute years of the war on drug trafficking, "El Vaquero" was arrested by members of the Mexican Army during a special operation in the Gulf of Santa Clara.
At the time of the attack, Aguilar García carried a firearm, which he could not act to defend himself from the aggressor.
Around 8:00 p.m. on Friday, an armed group attacked three people outside the Pantheon of New Colonies; The victims who were surprised and could do nothing in response despite being armed.
