Apeseo de Alto, GTO: 11 Dead, 5 Killed by Mexican National Guard

                        Streets and roads of Guanajuato are stained with blood, 11 people die:
Armed subjects arrived at three homes in the community of San Juan del Llanito where they executed six people. Violence does not yield in the state of Guanajuato, this morning there were at least 11 dead in the municipality of Apaseo el Alto. Confrontation with the National Guard leaves 11 dead in Guanajuato.

In a first event, around 3 in the morning, armed subjects arrived at three homes in the community of San Juan del Llanito where they executed six people.

"What I can say, at the moment, is that there is a first attack, just to a place where they sell car parts, known as anvils," said Sophia Huett, security commissioner in Guanajuato.

After the attack, elements of the National Guard faced the gunmen and there was a confrontation on the road that leads from San Vicente to El Espejo, in the same municipality. In the flight they met head-on with elements of the National Guard and a confrontation began where the uniformed men  managed to kill 5 alleged  hitmen.

"Subsequently there are other institutional actions, the balance ... I would ask for a little time and calm to know what the full report is as there were also injured people," he added.

It is known that in this last confrontation five alleged criminals were killed.

The area was cordoned off and personnel from the Attorney General's Office of Guanajuato began the investigations.

Hours later in the community of Wells in Juventino Rosas, two dismembered bodies were found in a safe house.

Eleven people died in the community of San Juan del Llanito, municipality of Apaseo el Alto , Guanajuato, due to various violent events that occurred Thursday night.

First, three people were shot dead inside an address located on Calle Lirios , almost 500 meters from the Apaseo-Querétaro Pan-American Highway. The bodies were found on the second floor of the house.

Three other bodies were found in two different houses on Calle Higueras , one of them at the entrance of a building and the rest inside another, located about 200 meters away.

The first report related to these events occurred at 11 p.m. and the soldiers of the Army who attended to it were attacked by armed civilians, on the Apaseo-Jerécuaro road, where five of the alleged criminals were killed.

The sites where the deceased were found were protected by Municipal police personnel and Criminal Investigation Agents attached to the Specialized Unit in Homicides.
