After clashes between the criminal cells Gente Nueva and La Línea, last Monday, hitmen kidnapped two health professionals to help their injured accomplices.
In Mexico, being a doctor means being in the crosshairs of narcos, who threatens and kidnaps them to take care of their injured. In Madera, a municipality belonging to the border state of Chihuahua, a criminal cell kidnapped two doctors to heal the alleged hit men wounded during the confrontation last Monday, in the community of El Largo Maderal-Las Pomas, according to La Jornada.
The crossfire that had as its protagonists was split between Gente Nueva, of the Sinaloa Cartel, and La Línea, of the Juarez Cartel, resulted in two killed and at least eight vehicles on fire.
Previously, residents of the municipality of Madera, Chihuahua, experienced moments of terror after the confrontations between the criminal group La Línea, an armed wing of the Juarez Cartel and Gente Nueva, of the Sinaloa Cartel.
The State Attorney General's Office in the western area reported that the incident occurred at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, in the breach El Largo Maderal-Las Pomas. Therefore, an operation was deployed in the region by Army personnel and the State Security Commission.
Villagers said the attack was announced on loudspeakers and the presence of the criminal groups was evident. And for several hours they asked for support without having a response from state or federal authorities.
It is presumed that among the deceased is Francisco Arvizu, “El Jaguar”, leader of the criminal cell Gente Nueva. This person as well as another were shot dead. See Yaqui's Post on the confrontation HERE
A bullet riddled body was located lying on the tire of a white Tahoe truck with multiple bullet wounds. On the road, a few meters from the first truck was a red 2003 half cab Chevrolet Silverado truck riddled from gunfire. And five meters away another lifeless body with denim pants and a blue shirt who had head wounds.
Also, within a wide radius three abandoned vehicles were found, a Minivan, a four-door pick-up and a two-door pick-up, which will be analyzed.
