A group of 27 prisoners
escaped from the Aguaruto Penitentiary Center among the chaos of violence that
was recorded yesterday in Culiacán, Sinaloa, confirmed the State Public
Security Secretariat.
The event occurred
after 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) at the facilities near the exit to Atalata
Beach.
Cristóbal Castañeda
Camarillo, Secretary of Public Security, said that the figure on escaped
inmates is preliminary.
"As a preliminary
report we have 27 inmates who escaped from the Aguaruto prison," he said.
In addition, at least 21
people injured by firearms, as well as official units burned by alleged hit men
of the Sinaloa Cartel.
"We have
unconfirmed the death of military and National Guard elements, and of two or
three civilians who lost their lives in these events, we have an injured state
police
In various videos, it
is observed how dozens of prisoners leave the premises and get into different
private vehicles where they flee with an unknown destination.
This state prison has a
capacity for 2,709 inmates, but in 2018, 2 thousand 215 men and 73 women were
officially reported.

If Navy really wanted to kill the sicarios they would have destroyed them in a heart beat.
