The Mexican drug lord
Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera sent a message from prison regarding
the release of his son Ovidio Guzman Lopez.
Through one of his
legal representatives, Guzmán Loera said he felt calm that his son had been
released by the Mexican authorities who held him for hours pending an arrest
warrant while the criminal organization deployed an operation with more than
200 hit men who faced state forces with a balance of 14 dead.
Through his lawyer,
Mariel Colón, Guzmán Loera pointed out from ADX Florence maximum security
prison in Colorado that "The fact that he knows that his children are safe
and sound right now, obviously gives him
peace of mind."
In an interview with
the US network Telemundo, Colón said that as his client has access to a
television, "obviously he could see it through the media ... He is at
peace because he knows that his children and family members are fine.”

When asked about Ovid's
place, compared to the rest of the capo's children, the lawyer said that Guzmán
Loera “loves all his children, loves them very much, they are very special for
him; obviously, the little girls (twins), are the spoiled ones. But he loves all his
children equally. ”
Colon, who is
identified by his close relationship with Emma Coronel, wife of the drug
trafficker, insisted on the confinement situation in which the founder of the
Sinaloa Cartel remains. [Colon, was a first year attorney when joining the
Chapo defense team. She is the one who
was caught facilitating Emma with a cell phone in the court room so that she
could communicate with the capo]
“The conditions have not
improved. Before he had access to the patio, outside, five days a week, but
they rescinded two days. Now he only has access for one hour three days a week.
The remainder is spent in complete solitary confinement,” She said.
Guzmán was sentenced in
July to life imprisonment and an additional 30 years in jail in the United
States.

Deletethe elderly is a sad situation. many of the young leave to the U.S. so eventually there is no one to care for them. catholic charities build some homes for them but the need is great. I donated sheets, mattresses, heaters and monthly food supply to those in coahuila. I spoke with them to learn their story. They said the family leaves, sends some money but no one to help them physically with their needs.
For the ones crying about kid's and the posters loved ones ever assume he didn't have such a thing which makes everyone else's loved ones even more of a trophy because there is no such thing as recourse at that point

But not all inmates have access to that and those that do could have it taken away.

There is no cable or local channels and there is no news. Visits are done via video as inmates and family do not see face to face. There is a limitation to lawyer visits and they are done via video when an inmate is in ADX supermax. Guzman has absolutely no access to anything. He probably only sees or maybe hears a voice or person once a week if he is lucky. He will never have a face to face visit with any attorney or family member as long as he is in supermax. This lawyer is so full of shit he is as pathetic as a dirtball corrupt attorney would be.

Televisions are a privilege that needs to be earned and the limitations to viewing are actually educational and religious based programming and includes indoctrinated BoP programs only. There is no cable, no HBO and the such and definitely no news at all is shown. ADX inmates are controlled to the extent they know of nothing happening outside their cell (which is the way it should be).

The biggest disclaimer to this fraud is there is no television access until the prisoner/inmate can gain rights inside the system and Florence takes more then a year for a simple cracker box black & white. Borderland you should contact this voice, this carnival lawyer and talk with him firsthand and get verified facts of his lies.

DeleteOnly via video communication. BOP will tell you that once you contact them. He has no physical contact with anyone while in the unit. He will not see a human for maybe weeks on end and his visits are only under video from the prison itself and closely monitored. Emma is a POS blood money idiot and will say anything for a buck. She could study for a lie detector test and still fail it miserably. She is like Guzman she knows he is a mass murderer yet she “portrays” her fake love ‘cuz she has no education or job skills so the killers will keep her on her lifestyle.
