"In
Culiacán we accomplished the mission, although it is estimated that there were
700 or 800 criminals, only 350 of us faced them. We caused more than five
casualties, which cowardly left their bodies abandoned, but we are sure there
were many more the dead criminals…”
Out of fear, after
being threatened after the failed operation to detain Ovid Guzmán, son of El
Chapo, military families left their homes in the residential complex of Colonia
21 de Marzo.
Military sources said
the families were evacuated and sent to the headquarters of the Ninth Military
Zone for their peace of mind.
These are at least 60
of 140 families of soldiers who live in the Military Housing Unit, located
along the road to Mazatlán, which also houses offices and a branch of Banj
Army.
Neighbors in the area
say that some families moved in with
relatives and acquaintances in the city.
"The majority have
already left.," said one resident.
On Thursday, the
complex of 16 apartment buildings was attacked by a command of alleged members
of the Sinaloa Cartel.
Some gunmen entered the
place shooting into the air, according to testimonies from neighbors.
The Secretary of
Defense, General Luis Sandoval, recognized a day later the attack in Colonia 21
de Marzo as an act of pressure to release the alleged drug trafficker.
"They approached the
housing unit, entered, and open fire on the housing unit. Hence they took a
civil security element hired for the security of the facilities and a troop
element that was dressed as a civilian," he said at the conference that He
headed with the Secretary of Security, Alfonso Durazo.
On Thursday, clashes
and narcoblocks caused panic and chaos among the population, as well as dead
eight, nine cars burned and the release of 55 prisoners from the Aguaruto
prison.
According to neighbors,
that day, several vehicles with armed men arrived at the military housing
complex in Colonia 21 de Marzo, which were posted to monitor access and exit.
"Here about three
cars and a van were accommodated, and over there another, they were just
watching people from outside and shooting," said one resident of the
sector.
-Why
did they leave?
"Because some men
came to the apartments there and they got in. I didn't see them, but there they
were. They were shooting and it was very loud.
-How
long did it last?
"I don't know, it
was long."
The Military Housing
Unit of Colonia 21 de Marzo is one of the three apartment complexes for
military families in Culiacán. There reside mostly women alone with children,
since their husbands only spend the night there when they are not commissioned.
Army calls cartel
members cowards in the video.
In an internal video,
the military describes the violent acts of members of the Sinaloa Cartel
registered on Thursday in Culiacán as cowards and indicates that more than five
gunmen were killed.
The material was
allegedly used to lift the morale of the troops.
"In Culiacán we
accomplished the mission, although it is estimated that there were 700 or 800
criminals, only 350 of us faced them. We caused more than five casualties,
which cowardly left their bodies abandoned, but we are sure there were many
more the dead criminals ", the video is told that does not have official
Sedena logos.
"We met the
objective of arresting a criminal, but they cowardly threatened to attack
innocent people, women, children, students and military families, this shows
that they are cowards."
In the recording
obtained by REFORMA, images of operational training of soldiers are shown.
"They threw
everything at us, using their maximum firepower although we only use what is
necessary and do not cause harm to people," he argues in the recording.
Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbles could not have spun Mexico’s humiliating defeat better yet the world knows the reality.
ReplyDelete350 soldiers vs 850 cartel guys is such bull shit.
In a city of about 800,000 inhabitants, the State, Federal, Municipal, Military, and newly formed
National Guard total more, and possess more munitions-than their adversaries.
It’s not a question of numbers but leadership and execution.
Mexico has cowards at all levels of government including its Police and Military.
The Coward in Chief is AMLO.
Queso
Nice input.

What would you have done diferently if you were in charge bro? Raised hell with Sedena all Over Culiacan? Have hundreds of innocent civilians blood in your hands? They would have crucified OUR president if that would have happened...blamed him and accused him of traitor for causing so many deaths for Americans thirst of Chapos money (which is ultimately American money but thats neither here or there)....theres just no winning in a situation like this...im still waiting for the videos of the military families to be published how they are being interogated by these overweight or smoked out sicarietes and terrified for their lives...imagine a video of a decapitation of these military families...what would you have said then? Incopetent president? What if it was your family? Would you still
DeleteCall AMLO a coward? Hay que pensar antes de hablar o opinar sin saber como esta el
Rollo de verdad...saludos! And no im no CJNG cheerleader either im a cheerleader for peace And progress in Mexico
- Guanatos
Wrong not coward. The new Rich $$$$$ Amlo
DeleteMuy fácil decir cuando no es tu vida o la de tu familia que está en riesgo.
DeleteYou don't know shit... When your ass is in the middle of the crossfire than talk. Inocent lives were at dtakeand for what an exchange of one ass hole that sooner or later will fall? If u like death go live in siria or any other place that has an ongoing war.. this is Mexico with a president who loves and cares about his people. Look at Felipe's Calderon method... Did nothing but cause thousands of murders and solved nothing!
DeleteRomeo Romeo where are thou? Record breaking number of murders under AMLO
Delete@Romero. I don’t need to go to the moon to know it’s there.
DeleteAuthorities, including the Clown in Chief AMLO, have a duty to uphold the rule of law.
No one gives a shit anime what previous administrations did or did not do. What matters is the present strategy and hugs, kisses and chanclasos from the abuelita, is not going to cut it
Under AMLO, Terrorists are more audacious and the Mexican Cemetery will be adding tens of thousands dead or disappeared.
No te me awites. 😂
Queso
Queso riddle me this. How would you insure no loss of life, not a single person, of the kidnapped family members of the armed forces? Would you announce to the criminals that if they hurt innocents there will be retribution on the leaders family? Municipal and state forces cannot be trusted, I believe in the forum thread regarding this incident a video shows "people" approaching a municipal police checkpoint and when he arrives he tells the officer he's from the Ovideo Cartel and is waved by. 230 elite federal lawmen arrived to Culiacán, if the AMLO govt is embarrassed and serious about changing the weak perception regarding his character shit will go downhill for these individuals and their operations.
DeleteChivis much respect. You receive alot of info from different sources and can connect the dots easier. But I do question your criminal knowledge regarding situations like this. Say federal forces start seizing money, drugs and properties and to boot capture 2nd or 1st tier mafiosos. Does that show a willingness to push back on the criminals?
For Chivis the beautiful and Queso the harsh critic time will show the AMLO actions.
Born yesterday
Why don’t you go over there and fight the cartel Mr. Queso 🧀! They will turn you into cheese in a heart beat!
DeleteChivis you are wrong record number breaking under AMLO because in past time goverment hide the real number, all the press and television are corrupted by PRI AND PAN, thousands of killed in past governments are appearing buried. They are idiots or are made or is an agenda that they bring against the president of mexico
Delete@1:28 AKA Born ayer
DeleteHow can I ensure no loss of life?
Newsflash.... Thousands are dying every year!
*The precedent on October 17, will add more carnage in the coming months and years.
The killing of Military families and civilians in Culiacán would have caused such an uproar in Mexico, and world world wide, against all Cartels, Especially in Sinaloa, that Mexico’s leadership may have actually accepted help from other counties to stomp out CDS and other terrorists. But the suffering will now be prolonged.
No “Foresight” AMLO will not finish his term.

@Guanatos 9:29
DeleteYou said it. “I’m waiting for the videos of the military families to be published.”
AMLO is actually stupider than I thought and surrounded by complete morons!
The videos (if they truly exist) have yet to be broadcast by traditional media, BB, and others, and would help your argument and help AMLO in the court of public opinion regarding his decision to release!
Look at the stupid video the Army puts out!
Not poor families being terrorized, but soldiers looking hard core and running around!
AMLO! Fire your communications and press advisors because they are making you look stupider that what you already are!
Better yet. Just resign!
Queso
Well said Panela
Delete"The killing of Military families and civilians in Culiacán would have caused such an uproar in Mexico"
I mean, YOU like a lot of metiches are counting on those bodies homz, we (mexicans) do not want those, you can't normalize criminal activity.
I think theres that much corruption within the police and government it’s impossible to know what really happened. I can’t help but question why they’ve gone for the two sons when menchos out there chopping up so many innocent people. They all need jailing but surely you go after the worst groups first?
ReplyDeleteMencho is not doing that its his workers, chapos kids workers are also chopping people in culiacan you just dont hear it cause the press is scared of them, look what they did to the army, now imagine what they can do to a journalist who realeses a note about all their crimes? They are the same as mencho better believe it
Delete@ 939 I've never heard stories of El Chapos kids raping innocent girls?
DeleteEveryone knows CJNG is worse than CDS. Doesn't make CDS good but they definitely arent committing as many heinous crimes as CJNG.
Local & state government & police work for the cartel, they use public safety cameras to monitor federal forces, that's why they the former were not informed of the attempted arrest.
ReplyDeleteYes Mexico has cowards at all levels of Government
ReplyDeleteI don't believe all police and soldiers r coward, they have no support from Amlo. $$$$$$ corrupt
DeleteI would like to think that there are a few good honorable police officers & soldiers in Mexico.
DeleteHate to have all humanity lost.
Hah!!! Good 1
DeleteEspecial forces Sinaloense defeated the government period.
ReplyDeleteNo Amlo did.
DeleteChivis can you get screenshots of the what’s app this information was circulating on?
ReplyDeletesorry I don't use what's app
DeleteGood dont use whatsapp its full of security holes
DeleteYou guys are missing the point. Its incredible that this cartel was able to drive in to a complex were military families leave. I mean how can you fight when you cant even protect your family. This is the government's fault.
ReplyDeleteCould it be that no such security measures were needed because of an agreement?
DeleteThis wasn't a planned operation where chapos son was the target, DEA personal met with the governor in secrecy, next thing u know this shit happens.. what a coincidence.
DeleteUS ready to step in
ReplyDeleteNo not the us, but contractors. G
DeleteSinaloa cartel opened an invasion for US troops to the lawless frontier
ReplyDeleteThe people of Sinaloa don’t want any US soldiers on their lands period. This will turn quickly into another iraq/afghanistan with roadside bombs and urban and mountain warfare. Those boys from the north don’t want to risk getting caught and getting decapitated.
Delete@10:15 had the cartel done this in the US then that would be true. Look what happened in Libya and US stayed out of it. Cartels are a symptom of the ‘war on drugs’, that is the problem.
DeleteImagine the goverment kidnapping and threatening narcos family's including children, asking them to give up. What do you think they would do? The goverment has morals to stand up to narcos dont. Dont get your shit twisted people. Obama negotiated with terrorist and nobody said shit, nobody called the us goverment weak or a coward but that's how it is. They had a strict "we don't negotiate with terrorists policy" and yet they did, and again no one said shit! The president clearly stated "we dont want massacres" gringos are so used to massacres that dont even matter to them anymore. It matters to mexico to keep civilians safe. Get it? Good!
ReplyDeleteCuliacan.
Culiacan. The government doesnt have morals. They have greed. If they don't go into narco's families homes more often is because they get paid by narcos to leave them alone.
DeleteWhich terrorist did Obama negotiate with?? I know he smoked Osama Bin Ladin. The Mexican President did the right thing. Americans don’t care about Mexican lives being lost for their war on drugs. The US should not get involved in what happens in Mexico.
DeleteWe all talking smack about the president being weak but if they really threatened the military families it mightve just escalated the situation even more in the long run. Perhaps they (chapitos) are idiots after all. The coming weeks will be interesting
ReplyDeleteThey were defeated only because they were stupid enough to not protect the families of soldiers.. in Mexico if you’re a police Ofc or soldier. Your inventory is not protected and it’s not hard to find you. This is why crime is the way it is and they will always win because of that. Mexico needs to protect their front line in a better way instead of wasting billions in weapons.
ReplyDelete350 soldiers would have defeated the 850 teenage teaker sicarios any day.. Only idiots would think a group of untrained cds sicarios would defeat the military
ReplyDelete@11:30. Yes. CDS defeated the military.
DeleteCDS got their Boss back, and the government lost control.
*This is not a conventional war.
Mexico missed the opportunity to pick off any gun carrying thug in broad daylight and didn’t!
The end.
Queso
Bullshit video bunch of propaganda reminds me of North Korea with the bullshit videos they show their people
ReplyDeleteEveryone blaming AMLO saying he’s weak and a coward, but I guarantee if he moved forward and innocent military families died he would’ve gotten so much heat. It’s hard to please everyone, especially with social media and public forums everyone has suggestions and opinions. How about you mind your own damn self and worry about your own problems instead of telling people how to solve them. That’s why I do me if what I say or do bothers people oh Effin well I’m not going to walk on eggshells just to please snowflakes.
ReplyDeleteAmlo is a weak coward! I do me as well! Now I'll go back to my safe space and play with my puppy and play doh! How dare you hurt my feelings! I'm feeling very oppressed right now! What you don't know is I'm 1/1064th indigenous but I identify as winter!
Delete335 Mr. Eggshell, this has been getting out of hand, Obrador is to blame, as he does nothing, to lower the high homicides. He is busy with poetry, jokes he is not a good president.
DeletePretty sure this goes without saying nowadays..
DeleteEveryone knows 006 wouldve had ied's along the road for when the convoys approached...while he parachuted down, watching the explosion of hundreds of bad hombres from above...
Sicario 006 would of defeated all the military by himself lol
ReplyDeleteLeaving a military base unprotected, is asking for trouble. In the USA, the minute they step on the property, they are shit at, no questions asked.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason they were ready to fight the military is because they went to the fiscalia ivan and ovidio....so there people knew if qe dont come out get us out...
ReplyDeleteI have to LOL at the mexican army propaganda video. Way to save face.
DeleteJust send in a brigade force to annihilate the whole city. Everyone who lives there is on the drug train...
ReplyDeleteWhat a disgrace for the prez of Mexico to bow down and lay at the cartels feet...
ReplyDeleteHas anyone seen Chivis?
