CJNG: Mencho’s troops lead by M2 profanes Carteles Unidos

The dispute over Michoacán intensifies.

After the arrival of at least 100 trucks with hitmen from the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) to the municipality of Tepalcatepec was reported, a video began circulating on social networks where one of the alleged lieutenants of the cartel led by Nemesio Oseguera launches a strong threat against the Viagras Cartel and the Carteles Unidos.

In the 32-second recording, a man identified as Miguel Fernández, aka “El M2”, supposed lieutenant of the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación flanked by three other hooded and heavily armed sicarios is observed, issuing a strong warning to the cartels that are located in an area known as La Loma, in Tierra Caliente.

Miguel Fernández, aka “El M2” gained notoriety after he allegedly gave the order to attack the murdered municipal police officers on October 15 in the Michoacan municipality of Aguililla, an attack that left 13 dead and nine injured policemen.

The alleged inrush of trucks with gunmen from the CJNG was initially denied by the authorities. Although the citizens fear remains inherent after the inrush last August 30 was recorded of members from the Jalisco Cartel who were looking for Juan José Farías Álvarez, aka El Abuelo Farías and other members of the Carteles Unidos.

On social networks a narco message is circulating signed by the Cartel Michoacán Nueva Generación (CMNG), a subsidiary of the CJNG, in which it warns that they are not willing to negotiate a truce with the Carteles Unidos nor with a subject whom they identify as El Tucán.

The message reads: “Good morning. Do not be afraid. We know the terror and fear that the Carteles Unidos thieves are causing. Accept a greeting from our Lord (Mencho). Be on your guard, the filthy ones are kidnapping to sustain their addicts. ”

At the same time with El Tucán they warned that there will be no truce with them in Aguililla, Michoacán; "The only truce is that you retire."

Who is part of the so-called “Carteles Unidos”?

"Carteles Unidos", is an alliance of cells of several cartels to confront the advance of the CJNG troops.

It is made up of people from the Gulf Cartel (CDG), Los Zetas Cartel and the Sinaloa Cartel (CDS), among many others, who also agreed to finance and support the Cartel Santa Rosa de Lima (CSRL), led by José Antonio Yépez, aka "El Marro", who dedicates his cartel to the theft of huachicoleo (fuel).

But according to some reports, they also support the self-defense groups that operate in the state of Michoacán, with the intention of stopping the advancement of “El Mencho”.

In less than a week at least six narco mantas were found, which were placed in different parts of the municipality of Zamora, Michoacán. All of them allegedly signed by the group “Carteles Unidos”, in which messages against El Mencho could be read, the CJNG leader.
