LeBarón massacre of 9 dual citizenship children and women
Those of us who religiously follow the Mexican narco
war, had a question after hearing about
the LeBarón family massacre. How or does the event link with the fierce confrontation in nearby Agua Prieta in the early
hours of Monday?
In those initial hours of Monday, there were fierce
clashes between La Línea and Los Salazars in different parts of Agua Prieta. We now are
told that La Línea [Chihuahua] did in fact enter Sonora subsequent to learning
Los Salazar [Sonora] we planning to enter Chihuahua.
The LeBarón family may have been at the wrong place
with horrible timing. Refer to my maps
below.
A suspect has been arrested, who when arrested had
two hostages bound and gagged in his vehicle.

General Homero Mendoza, chief of the General Staff
of the Ministry of Defense, attributed to the criminal organization of La
Línea, which operates in Chihuahua, as perpetrators of the massacre of nine members of the LeBarón
family .
The military command indicated that members of La
Línea were deployed before the threat that the rival group of Los Salazar,
which operates in Sonora, would try to enter Chihuahua.
"The criminal organization of La Línea, faced
with this threat of the intention of the Salazars to enter Chihuahua decide send
a cell between Janos and Bavispe to limit.
"As a result of that confrontation or that
confrontation that is taking place within the limits of both states, they
decide to send a cell and it is assumed that this cell they send to stop the
incursion or penetration of some criminal cell of Los Salazars as they advanced
towards Chihuahua. It is assumed it is the materialization of
aggression that is being attributed to
the LeBarón family massacre, "said General Mendoza.
He indicated that previously there was a
confrontation between members of La Línea and Los Salazar in Agua Prieta,
Sonora, and derived from that was that the cell of the first organization was
sent.

When presenting a timeline, Mendoza said that the
three vehicles attacked left the ranch La Mora but at different times, so the
attacks were separate.
The first aggression occurred at 9:40 am at a point
near La Mora. The first vehicle attacked was a Tahoe truck that caught fire
from the shots it received. There died a woman and four children.
The second vehicle attacked was a Suburban van in
which a woman and 6 children were traveling. In this fact two children died and
the woman he was driving. Four minors managed to escape.
The third fact was the attack on another Suburban in
which a woman, who died, and four minors were traveling. It is presumed, the
command said, that the criminals let the children go after the attack.

DeleteLos Salazares were going to send heavy reinforcements and equipment to the remains of Jaguares and Tigres. Maybe it’s Los Salazar that’s been personally aiding them for a while. And with Jaguar dead, naturally his associates in Sonora would take charge of his left over group and contacts. Salazares have been spending a lot of money for war and pushing up on new territory lately.

I am not a Mormon, but these people have been there since 1885 and have been working their farmlands for over 130 years... This is also happening in Southern Mexico, in Chiapas, except the native Mexican citizens there are poor. And when the 'paramilitary' forces (cartels in uniforms?) come in to shoot up their town they are forced out with the clothes on their backs. So, they become displaced - HOMELESS!! This genocide process by the Mexican government has been going on since the 1990's or before.I live in America and teach English as a Second Language to many Mexican immigrants. My heart is broken for them, because they would stay in Mexico if the Mexican govt. would just let them build their businesses without being taxed, run off their land (and murdered) by the cartels. I also believe that if the Mexican government would JUST LET MEXICANS BUILD THEIR BUSINESSES that Mexico would become one of the strongest economies in the world...

La Linea thought they got a big target by looking at those cars. This had nothing to do with CDS, do the math. CDS have been there for years and never troubled anyone and as soon as the amateurs arrive, look what happens. The US needs to stay out of the mess that ‘they’ created in Mexico, “the war on drugs”.... what a waste of money and Mexican lives. Suddenly 9 US lives are lost now the world is supposed to care? What kind of BS is that. Why didn’t America stop with the BS when the war on drugs didn’t go according to their plans? prayers to the family and also all the people killed because of the US in Mexico. DeleteEn este momento La pregunta de los familiares es si la CONFUSION fue del grupo Paredes o del grupo La Linea. El gobierno MEX ya sabe quien fue pero esta armando su estrategia (mas despues sobre esto). Pienso que los familiares apuntan a La Linea ya que todos los carros de La Mora (La Morita como todos le llaman) los tienen ubicados los diferentes puntos que tienen desde Agua Prieta a Huachineras y son considerados como civiles amistosos. Estos puntos son controlados por el grupo Paredes que sigue controlando toda esa region por medio de sus lugar tenientes y del apoyo de otros grupos que tambien estan dentro de la jerarquia del grupo Sinaloa. La balacera de ese mismo dia en Agua Prieta indirectament causo la confusion de Bavispe por este motivo. En junio de este año despues del fallido cambio de jefes en Agua Prieta se dio la orden de acabar con los traidores. Uno de ellos fue abatido hace menos de un mes (Misael Valencia de Bacadehuachi) en Hermosillo y solo queda el Tolteca. Por cuestion de sobrevivencia el Tolteca se unio a La Linea y ellos incursionaron a Agua Prieta el lunes ya que el Tolteca conocia los controles de respuesta y capacidad de fuego del grupo Paredes en Agua Prieta. El grupo Paredes resistio el ataque y alerto a los otros grupos de apoyo que incluyen a los de Chihuahua. De La Morita Sonora a Galeana Chihuahua (Colonia LeBaron) a paso tranquilo son aproximadamente 8 horas. Esta ruta empieza desde La Morita-Colonia Morelos-Agua Prieta-Janos-Casas Grandes para llegar a Galeana. Pero hay una via alterna que atraviesa la sierra compartida por Sonora y Chihuahua y el tiempo de La Morita a Galeana es de 4 horas. Este camino sale de La Morita-Las Virginias-Pancho Villa-Casas Grandes-Galeana y por eso estas mujeres tomaron ese camino que usalmente usan sin ningun problema por eso iban solas sin hombres. En ese punto de la sierra donde los estados se dividen tanto la Linea como el grupo Paredes tienen sus puntos para identificar quien pasa por ahi. La cuestion de la confusion es esta: se dice que hubo combate prolongado ese dia y si La Linea vencio la batalla pudo pensar que los tres carros eran refuerzos antagonicos del grupo Sinaloa. Por el otro lado si el grupo de apoyo a los Paredes que venia de otra parte de Chihuahua le gano la batalla a La Linea ellos pudieron pensar que los tres carros eran de apoyo a La Linea ya que ese grupo no viven en Sonora y no hay manera que ellos conozcan los carros de los de La Morita. El gobierno sabe bien quien fue pero esta de por medio quien finanzio las campañas de Corral y Pavlovich. Este hecho tan lamentable tendra repercucion como nunca antes visto. El gobierno americano con su politica de extrema derecha quiere sacar tajada de esto y va presionar al gobierno mexicano. Punto y aparte de la presion americana, el gobierno mexicano trae mucha presion interna por la falta de capacidad de manejar este tipo de asuntos. Por el lado civil la economia se va parar por el miedo infundido tanto por los grupos y el gobierno, ejemplo de esto es que cerraron la garita de ganado de exportacion de Agua Prieta. DeleteCalderon tried that in 06 although they did snag a bunch of high profile targets the side effect was that it kicked up a lot of dust & set off major violence across the country when these groups split up. Which is inevitable in an all out war between Army & DTo's, forget about the US army coming in to "clean up" that would be a big PR nightmare if something went wrong. we have a major deal on the table between Canada/US/Mex. military action into another country especially one of our biggest trading partners is unthinkable at this point in time.

But their government Is not concerned about their interest. Get you country back, get it back from the thugs and the dirty politicians. Mexico should be greater than it is.

ReplyDeleteNobody knows who did it...bunch of finger pointing. First off why did they take these dirt roads to get home? Why did they not use the regular highways? Those are always the reports to stay on the main highways when traveling in Mexico. Overall this is sad.
ReplyDeleteNo way was this la linea. Look at the videos and see that its a back road with hills and alot of brush....GN runs this area.... i say it was the army or cops that did this...
ReplyDeletewhat I’m trying to say is the whole thing that’s Been happening in Mexico is a DOUBlE EDGED sword I was born in the US. both my parents were born in Nayarit, Mexico both came to America through Tijuana on work visas in the early 90s

And how corrupt Mexico is but also how it gave them a push to come to the US and to give better opportunities for their kids which I’m forever grateful for the rest of my life. The reason I say it’s a double edged sword is because I live in America I don’t see what’s going on in Mexico that’s why I go on bb (thank you for what you guys/girls do) most people in my family know familys that have family members in organized crime
Including my family. All I’m saying is that the majority of Mexican citizens from what I know is that they also have family members in organized crime in Mexico making it hard for them to choose who to put their trust in whether it be the cartel or the government. The government hasn’t made it hard for the citizens to favour there family who’s Organization gives back to the community’s unlike the government in Mexico.
I can see why people in Mexico don’t want help from the US because they just don’t trust there own government as it is and especially not a foreign one. Hate it or love it the people of Culiacán where relieved things went back to normal After October 17th.
I wouldn’t get most of you people to understand unless you have family on both sides of the conflict.

So.. violence was getting out of hand so let the women and children head out to a wedding on a Monday morning with no guard or chaperone? Does that even make sense? Do Mormon men skip weddings on Monday mornings?
