The Ministry of National Defense reported that members of the Mexican Army, in support of civil authorities, secured a truck south of Navojoa, Sonora, in which a shipment of more than 400 kilos of methamphetamine and 2,200 pills of fentanyl were being transported.
The Ministry of National Defense reported that the drug, valued in the black market at more than 124 million pesos, was discovered after the military observed that the packaging method was atypical, so they decided to conduct a thorough supervision of the load.
Inside several cans they found 432 kilograms of methamphetamine and 2,200 tablets of fentanyl. The unit and the drug were made available to the corresponding authorities.
