The star, who gave life to the character Juan Antonio 'Marcado' in the third season of the series, died at 41 years of age.
Sebastián Ferrat, recognized for his work in The Lord of the Skies, died at 41 years of age after contracting a bacterium after eating undercooked pork, TVNotas said.
"A big hug all the way to heaven for my dear friend Sebastian Ferrat forever," wrote his colleague Alejandro Sandí.
The actor, who gives life to Juan Antonio Marcado in the third season of the series, had been hospitalized in Mexicali, Baja California, for several months and his family preferred to keep everything secret.
It was revealed that the infection he contracted is Cysticercosis, which is generated from the consumption of undercooked pork and that contains larval cysts.
Sebastián Ferrat is known for his participation in series such as El Vato, El Señor de los Cielos and El Yankee.
RIP /QEPD!

Wow this is interesting!
ReplyDeleteCysticercosis is a parasitic tissue infection caused by larval cysts of the tapeworm Taenia solium. These larval cysts infect brain, muscle, or other tissue, and are a major cause of adult onset seizures in most low-income countries. A person gets cysticercosis by swallowing eggs found in the feces of a person who has an intestinal tapeworm. People living in the same household with someone who has a tapeworm have a much higher risk of getting cysticercosis than people who don’t. PEOPLE DO NOT GET CYSTICERCOSIS BY EATING UNDERCOOKED PORK. Eating undercooked pork can result in intestinal tapeworm if the pork contains larval cysts. Pigs become infected by eating tapeworm eggs in the feces of a human infected with a tapeworm.

Just when one thinks his life will go from the violence Mexico is experiencing. Only to fall from food poisoning.
ReplyDeleteAt least he didn't become another statistic like many others.
Peace to him.
I never heard of anyone dying of that in recent times anyway.
ReplyDeleteYes, in America it is rare to even contract and die from Cysticercosis. What bad luck this actor had, all the conditions that had to be perfect for this to happen.
DeleteWhen the creator wants you out of this world you will die by whatever means, you will be unlucky
