Chivis Martinez  Borderland Beat  VXT Loba Indomable

Tamaulipas.- A  family that was shot by an armed group near a checkpoint in Nueva Ciudad Guerrero.  Cd. Mier is adjacent to Nueva Guerrero.  The road they were travelling on was not a toll road and is considered dangerous.  It sits along the Rio Grande/Bravo River.  It is an area in dispute by CDN and CDG cartels.

The injured were admitted to the University Hospital of Monterrey in critical condition.

The violent incident took place on Saturday at approximately 08:00 at night at kilometer 113 of the Carretera Nueva la Ribereña highway where the family was traveling in a SUV with Oklahoma licence plates and were accompanied by another vehicle.

The family was travelling to Oklahoma in the United States, where they reside, when they were intercepted by criminals aboard a red Chevrolet car, which requested them to stop, but they did continued driving until the armed subjects collided with them. The crash involved the third vehicle with one occupant who was uninjured.

Once the attack was over, the criminals fled in another car. The aggression left a lifeless 13-year-old teenager identified as Oscar, and three more injured people named: Rafael Castillo Silva, 48, Juanita Castillo of 41 and Abdiel of 10 years.

Reportedly the attack was perpetrated by the Northeast Cartel aka CDN

The 13 year old was pronounced dead at the scene.

  1. I’ve always been terrified of the cartels in the north east, they play by a whole different set of rules. My family is from michoacan, driving there we always felt safe going thru Sonora, Sinaloa, and Jalisco . As long as you didn’t drive at night. These highway robberies in the the north east are just ruthless. May god bless this family . And help them .

    1. Never go into Tamaulipas. If you are going there go threw Nuevo Laredo even then it is a risk. For some reason Allende to Piedras Negras and Ciduda Acuna are safe or were safe who ever is running the show in those areas knows how to work. 2013 to 2018. Things might have changed.

    2. My family and I been stopped in Villa Ahumada, Chihuahua and Casa Grandes, Chihuahua by La Línea aka Juarez Cartel but they just asked questions pertending to be cops but they never robbed us or hurt us... seems Like the cartels out northeast don't have codes and are more mentally unstable or drugged up

    3. Same! When I traveled with My ex husband and his family to Casas Grandes, The Narcos stopped us near Palomas & Janos, Acting like Soldiers. We all had to get off the vehicle while they checked the truck. We left the truck somewhere near there at a little store and My ex husband's Apa came to get us. He was very upset, He said one wrong move, look or word and We could of all been murdered. I was 7 months pregnant and Very scared. Either that day or the next day, The Narcos murdered a journalist there in Casas Grandes. I was scared for my life, I can't lie.

    5. If the "terrorist cartel" tells you: Bajensen a la verga hijos de su puta madre!!!
They are no police, and you fack up by being in their territory.
I am being stopped in the US, because GOVERNORS all over Mexico have hijacked public security and its funding and want more or they will keep crime up and blaming it on AMLO and his federal public security program to keep extorting MORE, MORE AND MORE!!! FEDERAL FUNDING for their propaganda and to steal it for themselves.
Cabeza de cagadas de vacas, sinhue, alfaro, corral, la pendeja de sonora and a few more narco governors are being investigated...No Bull...

  16. I’m from Matamoros and still have family there. I’ve never heard something like that happening in Matamoros. I wonder why people still travel through Laredo when there’s other bridges in other towns like Reynosa and Matamoros which I feel are more safe then Nuevo Laredo since those stupid CDN don’t respect anyone

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Reynosa is the same shit if not worse. Laredo has been on the spot light more as of recently.

      Delete
    2. The other bridges like the one in Ciudad Nuevo Guerrero have really short lines (25 minutes at most, even during holidays). Laredo was hitting 4 hours this weekend. Matamoros was around the same. I crossed through Miguel Alemán/Roma on Sunday and did 15 minutes (I was coming from Monterrey and heading to central Texas). The issue here IMO is that it was during nightfall. I don't even travel between Reynosa/Matamoros at night.

    3. I've got to call you on that, shootings along the highways to and from Matamoros, San Fernando, Reynosa, Rio Bravo are QUITE COMMON!

Most incidents aren't reported by the local media. 3 people where murdered ON the Mexican side of the Los Indios port of entry while waiting to cross into Texas! CBP/DHS and Texas DPS report not having received a full incident report from Mexican authorities. And keep in mind, there are Mexican military personnel stationed on the Mexican side of that border crossing point!

  17. Eventually all of Mexico will succumb to all this evil going on, it's like are people are going to the dark side, same thing here in California, raza is preying on raza thanks to prison gangs and crime.😔

  21. They should not have been driving after dark, and they should have just given up the car when confronted by armed carjackers rather than run. Your car is not worth your kids life.

    3. To @ 8:12 & 12:41...yet there are hundreds of thousands of Mexicans, including hundreds of politicians and their families, who prefer to live in Texas due to the violence in Mexico.

You're comparing apples to oranges, it's also interesting to note that a majority of crime in Texas's largest cities is committed by someone with a Hispanic surname, above their percentage of the population.

Dozens of excuses have not done the miracle, most have come to look like sophomoric third grader lies and excuses and evasions, according to lawmaking legislators who have been requested to not doubt or debate the wisdom of the so called president whose 15000+ lies have been recorded by the Washington Post, without BUNK defenders.

  30. I know it’s wrong what they did but some advise would be just to stop, I drive through this road when I go to Mexico to visit my parents, majority of the time these gunmen are just trying to see who’s coming in and out of their turf, if you don’t stop well then I’m sure things won’t be pretty, it’s kinda like ramming through a military checkpoint your most likely to get lead poisoning, sad to see somebody lose their life to these guys but u can replace a car, purse, money, sad to say but Mexico is a Gail country send the US troops in there and wipe these guys out, probably turn out to a civil war

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If the gunmen are just checking to see who is going through their turf, why not use spike strips down the road or just shoot tires if the car doesn't stop? Innocents would be scared out of their minds and surrender anyway. No need to kill unless car riders draw guns.

    2. The highest body count will be the Mexicans. Do the cartels have the capability of predator drones armed with missles, send in any US infantry unit to stand toe to toe with some poorlt trained sicario, and see who wins that gunfight. PTSD just keeps you more ALERT. Sure there are tunnels being dug. The US has HUMINT. No one is bigger and better and more trained than the US military.

      Delete
    3. 1:30 the US military needs training to refuse to commit illegal criminal acts,
The orders are in the books already, but high and mighty politicians chose to wipe their ass with all the laws in the books...
and if the later cover-ups don't work, somebody will.

What cultural value could a trip to grandma's house have that is worth dying for?

    ReplyDelete
  32. That happens mostly because the sicarios are paranoid because of the crystal meth or raw coke (ondeados)
Plus that part is hot as hell and all the operatives are all jumpy and shit
But probably their own cartel les va poenr el dedo
