"Sol Prendido” for Borderland Beat
The dismembered bodies of three men were abandoned in the vicinity of a gas station located next to the highway access to the community of Cerano.
It is presumed that they are the men who yesterday were kidnapped in the nearby community of Jacales. The finding was reported by telephone to the Emergency System 911 minutes before 08:00 hours on Friday;
It was said that at the Cerano gas station there were human remains, it was unknown how many people they belong to.
Elements of Public Security went to the crime scene to investigate and corroborated that there were three bodies of dismembered people. They cordoned off the area and took part with the State Attorney General's Office to initiate the corresponding investigations.
Later Agents of Criminal Investigation and Expert Services arrived, for the lifting of the indications that help them to clarify the facts, as well as the identification of the three men.

ReplyDeleteUsually the police kidnap them first. Cartel are used to working with police so when they get pulled over and sent to the station, they expect to pay their way out within a few hours. That is likely why they didn’t try to fight back. But once handcuffed at the station, if they are turned over to a rival cartel - that is the moment of truth

ReplyDeleteMore often than not i would imagine. If you intend to dismember you probably torture aswell the common denominator is brutality. Altough dismemberment could be used mainly as a way to dispose a corpse since these guys throw them around in public anyway that wouldn't apply here.
