Killed in Michoacan in December
A number of you BB followers
wrote in commenting about the man buried at the cemetery site where three men
were slain this week.
He was Uver
Hernández Castañeda, age 36 when he was murdered in Michoacán this past
December. Below is an article about the
killing, from El Debate.
Morelia, Michoacán.- Uver
planned to see his entire family in Michoacán this Christmas and with that
dream he traveled from the United States to his homeland, but he did not expect
that his plans would be cruelly cut by thugs who left him dead 70 kilometers
from his destination: Turicato.
December 18th. With an
overflowing happiness, he was already traveling through Michoacán lands in that
truck that he purchased in his country in the north.
The last trail of Uver
Hernández Castañeda, 36, was across the Turicato-Tacámbaro road.
Well overdue on December 20,
his relatives decided to report his disappearance before the Attorney General
of the State of Michoacán with the hope that the authorities would help him
find him alive.
Finally, on Sunday there was
news, but it was not the good news they hoped and prayed for. His body was located with bullet impacts and
traces of violence in the vicinity of the Opopeo village, at the height of kilometer
4 + 400.
Experts and agents of the
Prosecutor's Office arrived at the site to begin collecting evidence and
testimonies in the investigation of the murder. There was nothing known about
the Ranger Rover pickup, white, with California license plates 8MLY180.
Now, the Uver family is seeking justice and information regarding
the cause of their love ones unfortunate disappearance and sudden death.
How is this connected to the 3 dead? Apart from just laying on the grave.
ReplyDeleteThe 4 men were friends with the one on the grave. One was a coworker. Obviously 3 are now dead and one on the run.
DeleteVery sad but boy i would never in my life drive a range rover through mexico 😪
ReplyDelete100% @ 8:32
DeleteThe article doesn't say he drove the Rover through Mexico.
DeleteDrive my 1983 Chevrolet car better. Or just don't go Mexico
DeleteSomething fishy is going on here
ReplyDeleteMaybe some thugs car jacked him since he was driving a Range Rover Sport.
ReplyDeleteWas he in the drug business?
ReplyDeleteHell No! That was my father.
Delete??? He was ur dad
DeleteThem Michoacanos be to flashy especially going into a war zone full of delinquent savages, what was that guy thinking taking a rover.
ReplyDeleteSon de mas lucidos
The 3 that were killed and laid across his grave were killed in sacrifice as retaliation for uvers murder,it was payback for what happened to him in Mexico
ReplyDelete~ SOL PODRIDO ~
Something's telling me there's more to the story.
DeleteE42
One of the deceased worked for Uver's restaurant in Perris
DeleteWe can all just assume what happened but the three people found at grave site might of been related to the person/s who killed this guy back in Michoacan, For what is known there was no trace of the three been executed at gravesite. Seams a family member of the guy killed in Michoacan got vengeance and pulled a botas blancas gift on him🤷♂️ La maña is a community and I’m sure word got out of who did it and traces came back to the u.s of the one who order the hit or someone related to it. This seams like there was tension at one point with the victim before and whoever waited till he went back home to get him again🤷♂️
ReplyDeleteBut something was going on there when was the last time we heard of someone getting killed in Mexico then body’s fall down in the u.s again 🤷♂️

Driving a high profile car in MX, especially one bearing U.S. license plates, attracts too much attention from the huevones who steal and murder for a living. I quit visiting MX, family and the beautiful beaches because of the inbred Neanderthals running amok looking for their next victim.
ReplyDeleteRead the article, the SUV had nothing to with it.
DeleteThe family brought the thugs to the grave of their slain relative, so they knew why they died.
ReplyDelete12:45 one of the 3 victims was his own brother....
DeleteLooks like someone took justice in their own hands
ReplyDeleteWhat was the name of his restaurant in Perris? And who were the 3 killed at his gravesite? Sounds like there was alot more to it. Why would anyone go to michoacan w a new range to er anyway?
ReplyDeleteImpossible to "not know" that driving a late model Range Rover with California plates through Mexico is a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteHis mind was on the holidays and women.
DeleteThe stupidest people comment on here, no bs
ReplyDelete6:02 is a fool in my book.
Delete6:02 you have confessed to your own top level of "stupidest", CHAMP.
DeleteWill there be a chapter2? I know he was buried in Perris, but how is it related to the 3 being killed at his grave?
ReplyDeleteMan sucks , but I mean who drives a Range Rover through Mexico
ReplyDeleteApparently he did. A big no no!
DeleteE42
Why would he travel in that White Range Rover into areas he is unfamiliar with. I live in Chihuahua and there are areas in the state that it is not wise to drive in an expensive car or truck. You are just asking for problems. We keep an older good running car for travel into many areas here, so as not to garner attention.
ReplyDeleteHe should have traveled by plane, He was a sitting duck, might as well have painted his Range Rover yellow.
ReplyDeleteThat's a show off SUV, a regular older car would attract less attention from the criminals.
Now everyone will ask "Why was he driving such a nice vehicle in Mexico?"....they'll say he was asking for it "por presumido" or "Pues ni siquiera era de el, lo compro a pagos". That's straight bullshit but that's the mentality of every fucking naco and tacuache over there who doesn't want another Mexican to have nice things.
ReplyDelete-El Arrepentido de la Sierra
7:32 Now he is a dead takuache,
Deleteand I hope you come soon to Mexico in your nice thing car.
everytime i travel back to my home town i keep a super low profile, rent discreet cars and blend with the locals, taking that range rover was a big mistake
ReplyDeletedid this dude seriously cross over with a range rover wtf
ReplyDeleteYes suicide by cartel, he came in the perfect SUV, playing corridor music. he never made it to his town.
DeleteDid you guys even bother to read the article?
DeleteHe should have read a lot of BB, before veering off, to a lawless country.
ReplyDeletePretty dum to drive this kind of trucks to a state where criminals are just looking for the next victim not to mention that he was involved in that life as well, one of the dead bodies found at his grave was his brother's, the suspect of the murder was drinking with all the victims the day before....
ReplyDeleteNot his brother it was someone else
DeleteI'm surprised he made it that far into Mexico
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahah!!! Right?...
DeleteI am to. U just don't go to Mexico anymore.
DeleteLooks like Cartels wanting to be in US to control the drug trade, they try to blend in, in rural town's, but sooner or later they are caught, tipline FBI/cartelcrime
ReplyDeleteThey have been hear longer than you think it's just next door
DeleteTal vez alguien aquí en California les dio el pitazo aya ke iva bajar. Y pos los mataron a los responsables y se los llevar a el en su tumba
ReplyDeletejalava chueco el compa
DeleteRIP..He was a brave man driving that vehicle to Michoacan..
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell was he thinking? I agree with @8:18, how did he even make it that far?
ReplyDeleteSome people said the murders were about an argument that got violent. All the men were friends of the one on the grave. One was a coworker at the same restaurant.
ReplyDeleteDriving nice SUV in Mexico is asking for trouble. Death is the ultimate price, being robbed is better.
ReplyDeleteThe SUV had nothing to with it, sheesh read the article.
DeleteEveryone saying why would he drive that type of car into Mexico, I’ll tell you why who would feel comfortable driving a nice car in to a thug war territory?? The average joe would of not visit much less drive That type of car there knowing how hot this is and the attention this would bring..
ReplyDeleteThis guy was not ignorant when he decided to drive his nice car there. Are we all saying he was the only michoacano not to know what was going on in his home state? Whatever the reason was that he decided to drive that thing there... ? Knowing how the state is why even bother driving, Any how. People stay humble you will not impress no one in Mexico. With your brand new finance car.
H”
Yup, here's the first tacuache talking about a financed car as I told you Fed 25 at 7:32 am.
Delete-El Arrepentido de la Sierra
Dude I didn’t want to hurt your feelings lmaoz. Do you know what sarcasm is?? This guy did not get waked because of the car he was driving. Shit had nothing to do with the car for you to post a stupid comment about people Hating on a base 60k rover. Yes it is sad only few people have a privilege to drive certain cars in Mexico with out been Harassed. But this guy was not worried about that so it seams. Like everyone said who would be stupid to drive down and Through rural towns unless you got cost clear.. is the word taquache Insulting to you? Should I be insulted by that? I’m confused. Your calling me Possum? lol
DeleteH”
Mr. H for Humberto sorry, but driving a fancy fininaced Range Rover,is asking to be robbed. Just like the guy that came from New York, he was flashing being in a Bentley, showing he had wads of cash on social media and ended up being killed.
DeleteTher might be more to it you know que los michoacanos cambian de alianzas más que sus calzones 1 día son autodefensa/cjng Para pelear contra Los templarios then viagras contra cjng pues LNF contra cjng pues todos ya si besaron y están de novios contra cjng you don’t even know who is on who’s side 1 day is good next it ain’t and it’s perris we’re menchito used to live so you know thers cjng in that area
ReplyDeleteWhich border crossing did he cross thru? Like others said amazing he made it that far!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter, stay out
DeleteI'm gonna go out on a limb & say that Uver probably had an arrangement with a plaza boss in Michoacan that's why he felt safe taking a Range Rover to his home state. the arrangement went sour at some point in time before he was killed. Another explanation is that a rival group killed him to antagonize the group Uver was associated with. there's a boatload of possibilities here
ReplyDeleteFrom the comments I can tell. Lot of people either have not been to Mexico in a while or don’t venture far from their Pueblo. Range rovers BMWs Escalades are all over the place in Mexico. Opportunists lie everywhere. Even here in the states.
ReplyDeleteThe mafia is driving nicer trucks than those in Mexico. This smells like a hit and not a robbery. People think they’re gna go stunt in Mexico but they get stunt on. Not everyone in Mexico is poor. Get your head out of your a$$e$
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? I keep warning everyone to avoid going to Mexico. I worry sick when my family visits every Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhat if it's them? Don't go Mexico people. It is an unsafe shit hole.
Quick story about my neighbor from las ranas mich, dude took his brand new ford truck in 08 to cruise around and show off in his hometown, day later from his arrival local guys pulled him over at gunpoint, took truck and told him" we gonna be rolling around here in truck , dnt make a fuss about it cuz if u do we gonna kill u and ur family!" Next day dude came home on the bus!!
ReplyDeleteWill I survive if I take my Toyota Highlander 2012? I want to live to be 80.

Hello poetic man.
DeleteMany writing in asking who controls Perris....specifically speaking, according to DEA it is Sinaloa. And in San Bernardino and Riverside it is sinaloa and LFM and has been that way for many years
ReplyDeleteLove the license plate bracket..... LUXURY --- now that was brilliant.
ReplyDeleteWhommmmm Chivis your plates say luxury or is this guy tripping on drugs.
DeleteOlivia Moreno de Gonzalez, who identified herself in a phone interview as the owner of Mariscos Playa de Ixtapa, said she had been busy fending off rumors, including that Hernandez Castañeda was the owner, rather than an employee. From the LA times. I live in perris too not really a big deal to most people.
ReplyDeleteCrazy he made it that far in Mexico it seems to me there’s more to this story he had to be in the drug business
ReplyDeleteWhere is his Range Rover?
DeleteTo those who don’t travel in Mexico, you’d be surprised how safe it is for tourists. You can drive whatever you want and not be bothered. This was obviously cartel related.
