Andrés Felipe Munera
Castañeda "El Colocho" was arrested.
According to police
intelligence reports, Munera Castañeda was the leader of a cell in the service
of La Unión de Tepito and is related to various investigations of extortion,
kidnapping, drug trafficking and homicides in the City.
Also known as "El
Colombo" or "El Colombiano" he took the position of Eduardo
Clemente Zaleta "El Bandido" when he was captured.
He controlled the sale
of narcotics in the Roma-Condesa and Polanco corridor in Mexico City, as well
as Ciudad Satélite, in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, although he was also located
in the Cuauhtémoc, Miguel Hidalgo, Benito Juárez, mayor's offices. Coyoacán,
Tlalpan and Gustavo A. Madero.
He is 27 years old, and
he is accused of having ordered murders and kidnappings of antagonistic groups
to the Union, such as the Fuerza Anti Unión, as well as members of his same
criminal organization, when they did not agree in the decision making.
Police sources
indicated that his immigration status is irregular, since his temporary residence
permit he has expired.
Andrés Felipe had already
been arrested several times by city authorities and regained his freedom for
being minor crimes and changing his name, as well as identifying himself as
Venezuelan.
FGJ investigations
identify him as responsible for several homicides, such as three men found
inside a vehicle, in the Corpus Cristi Colony, in Álvaro Obregón, in September
2018. One of the victims was a member of the Jewish community in Mexico City.
He is also accused of
the murder of Víctor Vázquez Alor, a member of La Unión Tepito, in May 2019, in
Colonia Paseos de Churubusco, Iztapalapa; and the killing of four men found in
a Tsuru taxi, in the immediate vicinity of the colonies Adolfo Ruiz Cortines, Coyoacán
and Jardines del Pedregal, Álvaro Obregón.
The local police
followed their tracks for months, as it did not have a fixed residence and
lived in passing hotels and various apartments and houses rented through
applications such as Airbnb, from 5 to 10 days, to not be detected.
The Colocho also took
care not to go out and not be seen in public and tried only to collect the sale
of drugs and extortion, according to investigations by the local police.
The Colocho is of
Colombian nationality.

ReplyDeleteGood job trying to make this political. Btw no one is against deportation of illegal immigrants that commit felonious acts... Deportation of illegal immigrants for minor (mostly traffic) offenses is what I believe people are more against. Breaking up of families whom been here for decades and have established a foundation also is what I believe people (or whom you would label as leftists) are against. No one wants to live around dangerous criminals but we shouldn't have to break up families in the midst of attempting to keep the dangerous ones away.
