The man found inside the trunk of an abandoned vehicle in Tlalpan was El Teniente, an operator for Édgar Valdez, La Barbie.
El Teniente was reported to operate in southern Mexico City until his arrest in 2010.
However, he passed from the ranks of the Beltrán Leyva Cartel to that of La Barbie when the group was divided.
Now the Attorney General's Office is investigating his homicide which points to an adjustment of accounts.

ReplyDeleteCurious to know the truth about how much money these after the fact individuals had in financial institutions upon capture or death? Leaning on barely anything at all. A point made for anyone else who believes in fast illicit riches. An illusion for most which has compromised many's sense of rationality.
