La
Cecy' is 51 years old and on the night of April 10 she wore a black dress, a
necklace of the same color, and high-heeled shoes. She was not afraid: with a
weapon she threatened the authorities who were trying to stop her. She is accused
of being one of the cell leaders of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel in
Mexico City.
The
Attorney General of Justice of Mexico City (FGJCDMX), announced on Friday,
April 10 the arrest of María del Carmen 'N' , alias ' La Cecy ', alleged leader
of a cell of the Jalisco Nueva Cartel, (CJNG), in charge of the sale and
distribution of drugs in four mayoralties of the capital and three municipalities
of the State of Mexico,
This
arrest was led by agents of the Investigative Police (PoI), attached to the
Special Investigative Prosecutor's Office for Attention to the Kidnapping Crime
, called the Anti- Kidnapping Force, after the intelligence work implemented by
the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), in coordination with the National
Intelligence Center (CNI).
La
Cecy has a criminal presence in the Gustavo A. Madero, Venustiano Carranza,
Azcapotzalco and Cuauhtémoc municipalities in the CDMX , as well as in the
municipalities of Texcoco , Nezahualcóyotl and Ecatepec, in the State of Mexico, which are in dispute between the CJNG and La Unión Tepito.
