Jacobson, assured that the United States government carried out investigations that
confirmed the relationship between García Luna and the Sinaloa Cartel boss
Roberta Jacobson, former United
States ambassador to Mexico, stated that the former President of Mexico, Felipe
Calderón , knew during his government, that the head of the Ministry of Public
Security (SSP) Genaro García Luna, had a
relationship with drug traffickers in the country.
Roberta Jacobson assured that
the United States government was carrying out investigations that confirmed the
relationship between García Luna and Chapo Guzman, leader of the Sinaloa
Cartel.
"The information we
obtained (at the State Department) was through US officials, but it came from
Mexicans, they were the ones who received the most information and had
information about the corruption of García Luna," said Jacobson.
She assured that the Mexican
government at that time had this information as well as the United States.
In 2007, Jacobson was part of
the Mérida Initiative, which sought to combat drug trafficking in coordination
between the United States, Mexico and Central American countries.
Jacobson reiterated that it was
"naive" to want to blame the United States government for this
information, since Mexico knew the same or more about it and did not take any
action or measure against those involved, she reported in an interview with the
magazine Proceso.
García Luna is imprisoned in
the United States; facing charges for allegedly having helped drug traffickers
enter drugs into the neighboring country while he was a security attorney.
The former ambassador is getting blow-back on her twitter account
prompting this:

Chapo provided the manpower to enter Juarez, Calderons government provided some resources as well as manpower while the two U.S. agencies added the strategies.
How did the U.S. add the srategies some ask?
By using their constantly proven technique of "divide and conquer". In a short period of time most of the Juarez cartel leadership as well as allies like La Linea and Barrio Azteca was captured or eliminated while Chapos crews practically remained intact.
Sicario 006 and CDS nutthuggers just think that Chapo and his stupid corridos was all it took for CDS to almost conquer Chihuahua at one time but stories like these prove otherwise.

There is some truth to what you say.... however, it is a little deeper than that. Remember one thing, any person that has ever gotten involved with the CIA, has eventually been murdered, or sent to a US prison. Everybody from Saddam Hussein to Caro Quintero.... Manuel Noriega, found out the hard way.... you have to realize, Mexico is fertile ground to generate billions of dollars for covert operations. That's pretty much all there is to it. Everybody should open their eyes and realize that our government is more involved with this stupidity and ignorance and disgusting behaviour a lot more than they want to see on its face. They make everybody do what they want them to do, regardless no matter what the consequences are.
