Members of the Tepalcatepec Cartel, headed by 'El Abuelo' against CJNG
Tepalcatepec, Michoacán.- A
cell of eight alleged hitmen, were captured in the last hours in possession of
an arsenal, the operation was carried out by agents of the National Guard, in a
camp that was discovered in the municipality of Tepalcatepec.
The state delegation of the
Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) reported that the eight
alleged gunmen, are members of the
Tepalcatepec Cartel, headed by Juan José Farías Álvarez 'El Abuelo' and part of
the cartel alliance United facing the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG).
According to the Prosecutor's
Office, the eight men were captured on a site where they had a camp which was
discovered by soldiers of the Mexican Army.
They were arrested in the
possession of 12 assault rifles, one .50-millimeter caliber Barret rifle and
anti-aircraft type, one Fall rifle and three pistols, with 1,200 ammunitions.
The detainees, according to the
FGR, identified themselves as Alejandro G., Eugenio M., Manuel C., Marcial P.,
Juan A., Francisco M., Jony V., and Audel M., who were already linked to the
process and justified preventive detention, by a control judge.
The detainees are accused of
the crimes of carrying firearms and possession of magazines and cartridges for
firearms for the exclusive use of the Army, Navy and Air Force, with the
aggravating circumstance of an armed group and collection of firearms for
exclusive use. of the armed forces.
It is worth mentioning that the
eight men, among who would be a relative of 'El Abuelo Farias', were held in
the maximum security area of the David Franco Rodríguez prison, also known as Mil Cumbres and
located in the municipality of Charo.
They cant hide behind the Autodefensa movement forever. Everyone now knows that it's a disguise to throw suspicion off them, Abuelos people always have been traffickers, kidnappers & extortionists. End of story
ReplyDeleteGovernment is going to start focusing on the bad grandpa which gives the other grandpa who loves roosters a advantage to sweep in
ReplyDeleteIt's funny they let CJNG members that are arrested with weapons are let out in no time vs an opposing cartel gets more time until they come up with the bribes.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the group that gets out quick has the cash to pay and the other doesn't. Makes money, makes sense
