The former mayor
of Magdalena, Alfonso Robles, died this afternoon amid the clashes between
armed groups in Magdalena de Kino.
The warring
between narcos spread terror in the population and authorities reported that in
areas such as El Tacícuri, San Ignacio and the La Madera neighborhood and in
the Caseta de Cobro, shootings were recorded.
Magdalena
reported shootings yesterday as well.
Residents
reported seeing a large convoy just before the shooting.

been able to confirm or get a number.
The most I could find is 3 deaths, a civilian, which is the mayor, a
narco and a police element. That number
could greatly rise when more facts are forthcoming.
The
confrontation occurred around 4:00 p.m., which is when the first reports are
that gunfire detonations began to be heard.

ReplyDeleteWe passed through there yesterday. Had breakfast in Santa Ana. The conversations were about the shootings the night before. Everyone from the area knows "los Pesados" involved. We have to return through there tomorrow or Monday, depending. We won't be stopping for anything this time.

RCQ is up and backed up by Beltranes and other old schoolers in the reaction. Gigio is heavil backed up by Mayo and RCQ will use his men to make others pay for what they did to the areas while he was incarcerated. This region was always in good hands with RCQ mentality, but went to shit when Chapo and his sons and all the lacras working for him took over. Chapo was a POS in this area, the old schoolers always had a treaty which was respected and they had balls to keep their word. I would see this level of violence growing up in Sonora, because people respected people back in the days. History repeats itself, RCQ is back. Like it or not.
