Jessica Johanna Oseguera González, alias "La Negra", is charged with five crimes for involvement in transactions or deals related to property of a foreign person designated by the Treasury Department's blacklist.
Dockets reveal her scheduled trial date is December 14th.
She had fought for release citing Covid 19, was denied and she appealed, she lost on appeal.
She attempted to gain freedom on bail. (see docket below) In the filing the property of a relative, Azucena Oseguera, at 644 Primrose Pl, Perris, CA 92571 was to be used as collateral. The conditions and agreement of bail was revoked the same day.
The property pictured below, “sold” last week, and empty.
Jessica was arrested as she arrived
in Washington DC to attend a hearing for her brother El Menchito. Her attorney was either given erroneous
information or mistakenly advised Jessica that there were no indictments or
warrants for her in the U.S. therefore it was safe to travel to DC.
She participated in a court
conference yesterday via teleconference. The indictment in the case is unsealed
and presented below.

ReplyDeleteMy first draft did not have the address, although it is in the public record with the court. HOWEVER if you read the post the house was sold this month and it is completely empty.
DeleteThis further illustrates the point that no matter how much money and power the kingpins have, their lives are ones of misery. Mencho has two kids and they are both in U.S. jails. Chapo in U.S. jail and one of his children was killed. Zamabda, children in jail. Z-40 and Z-42, in jail. Sooner or later it catches up to you.

DeleteYou left out the fact that part of these kingpin's power base is the ability to bribe government officials. That works in Mexico, however, in the case of Francisco Antonio Colorado-Cessa (Z40 operative), it did NOT.
As you may remember, the attempt of bribery got two of Francisco Antonio Colorado-Cessa's associates jail time and it helped to expose how for Los Zeta's tentacles reached into legitimate society. 1.2 million U.S. dollars was the bribe amount for U.S. District Judge Donald E. Walter.
That is the difference here, folks. This well paid, highly respected judge scoffed at the petty attempt of the cartel.
Z40 could not bribe his way out in Mexico. I am certain he offered over 10 million to be set free. Nope. He had killed, raped and pillaged way to much....
-but that is another story entirely.
Juris- Chapo was brought here to NYC. His attorneys petitioned the court to allow a foot stool in his cell. Seems that the KING couldnt take a dump without using a stool.The NY Papers shreaded Chapo over this perceived weakness. Another request was that Chapo be given 5 minutes alone with his wife and daughters. Judge said no. As he sat in the courtroom waving to the girls he broke down crying. These guys who get eztrdited

DeleteIf the indictment is sealed, no one knows not even the lawyer. It was probably unsealed the minute they new they had her. You think they'd tell the lawyer, "hey if she comes into the country we're going to arrest her..."
DeleteThat exactly what he says happened, he checked and was given erroneous information. That aside, look at the date of the indictment. I am wondering if they threw an indictment together after the call from the Mexican atty. With alfredo, he had served his sentence and was about to be free in Mx, the US never had him named on any indictment, not even BLO indictment with many names. If you look at the first indictment against him, filed in order to file for extradition, it was boiler plate, bare bones. But then they added a multitude of charges.
DeleteShe has 5 counts hat are essentially the same. My guess is she enters a plea in exchange for 4 counts being dropped, and points deducted for plea of guilty, clean record etc. and forfeiture if property in US.
ReplyDeleteso 20 yrs less points, somewhere around 10 to 15yrs. majy less depending on points. Good behavior, time served and fine paid drops it way down.
However, as in the case of alfredo BL they began with very little and continued to layer more offenses.
If they can show that she was part of and continued to profit from an ongoing criminal enterprise, she might be hit with RICO. That's the kiss of death.
