7.5 Earthquake registered in Oaxaca and Mexico City, video

A 7.5 earthquake hit southern and central Mexico, causing buildings in Mexico City to sway and thousands to run into the streets.  A tsunami warning is in effect.


It hit around 10:30am

It was stronger than a 2017 quake that killed over 360 people, but there are no immediate reports of casualties.  Epicenter southeast of Crucecita, Oaxaca. (Oaxaca image below)

  1. Due to Mexico's geographical location it has been victim of very powerful earthquakes!
    The tetonic plates are being monitored in Sinaloa Durango and Sonora by a special group of highly trained geologist to make sure none of the CDS structures of vital importance in the Golden Triangle are not affected .

  3. That gnarly quake during the 80's had our pool water sloshing back and forth in South Texas.
