After several weeks of monitoring a property on the Rosarito-Ensenada free highway, police corporations secured motor vehicles and chemical precursors, a fact that prevented the manufacture of more than 700 kilograms of synthetic drugs.
In a joint operation with the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), through the State Security Guard (GES), National Guard (GN) and Secretary of the Navy (SEMAR), they carried out security actions at Kilometer 73 + 800 of the free highway Rosarito - Ensenada.
The entry of the agents was carried out at 06:20 on Monday, June 1, when a search warrant was released to begin the search for illicit indications in and on the property that, presumably, served as a laboratory for the Sinaloa Cartel.
When entering the place, the police located a truck, model 1999, International brand, (150 caustic soda packages were found inside); a Chevrolet brand vehicle; a Nissan pick up; a 2004 Chrysler vehicle, a black trailer, and a blue ATV.
In addition to 16 200-liter drums of hydrochloric acid; 1 argon tank, 13 drums of 200 liters of ethyl alcohol, 3 drums of acetone, 1 drum of toluene, 5 drums of 200 liters of isopropyl alcohol, 60 gas tanks, 279 packages of caustic soda, 100 packages of 30 kg pasty white powder and 7 50-liter containers of ammonium hydroxide.
It should be mentioned that this result derived from an investigation carried out after the search carried out on May 25 at a winery in the Valle Dorado subdivision in Ensenada.
Both seizures represent a financial blow to said criminal structure, since according to the US DEA (Anti-Drug Agency of the United States, for its acronym in English), what is now secured in this clandestine place, potentially would have produced 702 kilograms of Methamphetamine which along with what was secured in the aforementioned warehouse, the production of around 1,598 Kilograms of synthetic drugs was avoided.
An armed group is said to have entered Aguacaliente (Rusos territory) and dropped of a body and burned down some properties. Could be Chapitos men.
