The mayor of the Mexican municipality of Zacaualpan, Fidel Figueroa, has been arrested for providing information to drug traffickers to facilitate a murder of a regional prosecutor.
The attack against the Ixtapan de la Sal Regional Prosecutor, Mauricio Blancas Valerio, occurred on March 11, 2019.
In addition, one of the public official's escorts died in the attack. Then the Attorney General of the State of Mexico.

In January 2020, five men related to this attack were detained in Mexico City.
Now they have arrested the mayor of Zacaulpan because he allegedly gave information to the La Familia Michoacán, aiding them in the attack and murder.
Mexican politicians are the most scummy out of all the major corrupt nations...
