Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua: The Murderous City Known as Juárez

Video translation is as follows:

Good afternoon everyone. We are currently in the western part of Ciudad Juárez, in the Nuevo Mexico neighborhood. To be exact it’s Santa Fe Street and Emiliano Zapata Street. Where a man was recently executed with 2 gunshots according to the initial report from the authorities. The man was sitting on a bench outside this orange cinder block house that we see on the left side of the screen, next to the police patrol.

There’s a murdered individual there leaning on the bench outside his house. We repeat, it’s an execution according to the initial report from the authorities. This happened on Calle Emiliano Zapata and Santa Fe, in the Nuevo México neighborhood. 2 gunshots were reported by neighbors against this individual when he was outside.

However, the official report is that he lost his life. Unfortunately, this is one more execution here in Ciudad Juárez. With this execution we’ve already had 3 homicides today. At this moment we’re getting reports of another homicide near the western end of this city. We’re going to head that way in case it positively develops. We will bring you a live report. Stay tuned.

    1. Cd Juærez, pentonto.
      Formerly "Paso del Norte".
So named in honor of the Benemérito de Las Americas: Benito Juarez who opposed mortgaging the country by taking loans from foreign sodomites.
Loans that would be stolen by bankers and businessmen to deposit back in those foreign banks accounts in their name.

    1. There are many gangs in Ciudad Juarez. I think the neighborhood in question is under the Aztecas, but it borders La Empresa's turf.

    1. Not currently I don’t think... Tijuana is currently experiencing more murders than Juarez .. but Juarez by far has had the most murders during the peak of the drug war (almost 4000 killings in 2010) I don’t think any other Mexican city has topped that.. I’ve recently travelled to both cities and even though Tijuana is currently more violent, Juarez just carries a heavy and dreadful atmosphere that makes you nervous and keeps you on your toes always looking behind your shoulder, it feels like the city itself wants you dead very eerie to say the least .. in Tijuana however the touristic vibe helps keep your mind at ease and it’s easy to forget that it’s currently the murder capital of Mexico ... both cities are extremely violent however and one must always practice great caution when visiting.

    3. TJ has more murders this year, and last, than Juarez but if you look at both cities overall, there is no comparison to Juarez aka Ciudad de Los Muertos.
