"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
A new video from the Mexican underworld has recently surfaced online. For this broadcast the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generaci贸n (CJNG) has 2 men kneeling and speaking before a camera.
The sound of their voices has been muted. But a narco ballad as well as a statement from a sicario off camera is heard giving an ominous warning to whoever is selling blue crystal meth. Men and women belonging to the Cartel Santa Rosa de Lima (CSRL) have a history of selling this blue colored crystal meth in Apaseo el Grande and it’s surroundings.
This film concludes with a sudden glimpse of the men in a post death beheaded state. Followed by their hellish screams for the last few seconds.
This will be the fate of everyone who is caught stealing, extorting, charging a taxation, and selling blue crystal meth. Apaseo el Grande already has an owner. And it belongs to the CJNG. We are the absolute Grupo Elite. Come on out to the confrontation you blasphemous gang of dirty fools. We already have each of you located. Johnny, along with his crew of bitches.

In many ways, wouldn’t the act of monopolizing an illicit trade (such as drugs) in any area be considered an act of extortion as well?
ReplyDeleteI always find it funny how they continue to say things like “the other guys kidnap, extort, terrorize, etc, but we are simply just drug dealers” and somehow find it justifying... In this case they are literally just saying “you will die if you buy their drugs, so you should only buy ours”...
What if the town doesn’t want to be overrun and/or have the presence of heavily armed drug dealers, at all? What if the town doesn’t want any drugs to be sold, period?
As for the age old “blame the consumer” argument; I am not denying there is a presence of illicit drug trade all over this planet, but go and take a look at Switzerland. Do a quick little read on how they fixed their “heroin problem”....
