Gunmen Abduct and Kill Policeman Involved in CJNG Operation in Chapalita, Guadalajara, that Left 4 Dead, 30 Arrested

"Morogris" for Borderland Beat

Police officer Mario Alberto Villa Arce was a driver during the operation.

Mario Alberto Villa Arce, a municipal policeman who participated in the recent law enforcement operation against a Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) cell in Chapalita neighborhood in Guadalajara, Jalisco, was kidnapped by armed men. He was confirmed dead a few hours ago.

His colleagues have received death threats and said that their superiors have not provided them with appropriate security measures.

The police officer was kidnapped on his day off when he was walking with his son on Rafael Ochoa Street, at the intersection with Álvaro Alcázar Avenue in the Jardines Alcalde neighborhood. At least eight individuals aboard two trucks - one Blue Honda CRV and a gray Hyundai - forced him into a vehicle at gunpoint.

The policeman fired at the assailants but they shot back and quickly overwhelmed him. His son was shot on the left leg while trying to defend his father.

The incident occurred very close to the headquarters of the Center for Justice for Women, where there is constant state police surveillance.

Two officers from the Guadalajara Municipal Police have been kidnapped in less than a month. On April 3, Virginia Muñoz González was abducted in front of her children. Her whereabouts are unknown.

On April 19, 2021, Guadalajara authorities receive an anonymous call reporting that kidnapping victims are being held captive at 1285 Chapalita Avenue in the city of Guadalajara.

When security forces arrived at the house in question to investigate, a woman came out to answer the door. She soon realized that they were police officers and quickly closed the door. Police officers noticed that several people were escaping through the yard's back wall and through the property's roof. Several of them then tried to struggle with one of the officers and two suspects were shot dead.

A gunfight broke out and extended to other parts of the neighborhood. As reported by Borderland Beat, authorities are certain that the house was used as a safe house by the CJNG. Inside the property, authorities found a dead person and several firearms. Six more people who were in captivity by the CJNG were rescued.

Jalisco state prosecutor Gerardo Solís Gómez told reporters that 30 people were apprehended: 27 are men and 6 women. Two of the detainees were minors.

    1. @6:49 Bozo! If there any cops left not already working for CJNG they will quickly fall into line and serve the one who decides over right and wrong and life and death: Mencho and his crew.
      Sad reality :-(

  3. When these bastards kidnap especially police there should be an onslaught against the cartel that took them to show them what happens if you touch authorities, not only to show cartels but to show police that we are backing you.
Do nothing and it engenders a feeling of worthlessness and "why should i put my life on the line" for people who couldnt care less.
We can rip police apart but without them ?

  4. No end in sight, the Baby Killer Cartel, aka cjng was passing out toys a few days ago, and now are kidnapping municipal police. They don't like to lose, they got caught red handed at a safe house filled with dead and alive kidnapped victims. I keep saying shoot them on the spot, otherwise no end in sight to killing defenseless citizens.

    1. That not good. I knew the baby Killer Cartel can't be trusted.
      No kidnapping task force exists.
Soon this will go on the back burner and fade away, as nothing is done to get the criminals.

  7. Queso are you ok? Have not heard from you in awhile. What's your input on the kidnapped police man. Perhaps they will do nothing to him, if the 30 detained are set free, or maybe he has already been cut up already.

    1. 7:47 I agree with you, should only be the towns people, police and government can't be trusted majority is curupted. No one went looking for the cop, no Intel to develop where safehouse of criminals are located, even Obradors government, does not want DEA helping out, Mexico is going downhill better yet it has been.

    3. Decades ago rich people hired the Mossad in San Pedro as body guards. Why cant the Mexican Govt afford to pay for mercenaries to help them? They could hire some militia guys from the US.

  14. Russia in the 90s have same shit, kidnappings and murders of policeman! if you know more countries where criminal groups are so rampant, then tell me

    1. Italy had a kidnapping problem in the 70s and 80s. Nigeria, Somalia, and South Africa have crime worse than Mexico. Australia had a serious problem in the 70s, 80s, and 90s with rampant crime, entire police forces were bought off. There are about 20 other countries right now that make Mexico look tame.

    2. @9:24 There aren't lol. Show me countries where the criminals have these armed convoys.

Only middle east has this sort of warfare right now.

  19. With his son, on his day off. Occupy Aguililla, Beuna Vista, Uruapan, Irapuato, Guadilajara and cut the snake's head off. Where are the National Guard? AMLO's going to strike peace by expanding opportunities, but they are only fleeing to Estados Unidos because there is some law and order. Mexico has had ineffective government, justice, etc. they are impotent against these bastards.

    1. Obrador government has supposedly an elite commando battalion of 350 military officers, he had sent them 2 days later, after the attempted arrest of a chapito son.
Apparently he is not using them at all, all the while Mexico goes downhill with homicides.
They stay at a base, exercising, watching TV.
