Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco: CJNG Dealt a Major Blow by Military

   "Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

This is how the crime group takes advantage of people's need for work, by forcing them in belonging to drug trafficking

In the municipality of Lagos de Moreno in the state of Jalisco, a place where drug traffickers of the Cartel Jalisco New Generation(CJNG) have their operations center, 18 people kidnapped were rescued and 4 more were arrested. Just as well an arsenal was also seized from them.

According to unofficial information the victims are suspected of being recruited by the criminal group of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes alias El Mencho, Señor de los Gallos or el Gallero, leader, of the CJNG.

The release was achieved after elements of the Mexican Army and the National Guard carried out an operation, the State prosecutor, Gerardo Octavio Solís Gómez, reported without giving further details, who added that the case is being investigated by the Attorney General's Office (FGR ).

“The collaboration of this agency was requested, in an excellent operation carried out by members of the Guard, the Army and the Attorney General's Office, the release of a little more than 20 people was achieved.

The preliminary data may refer to four detainees. Further details about the operation is being worked by the Attorney General's Office ".

According to unconfirmed information, among the 18 rescued victims, there are six minors between the ages of 13 and 17, originally from other municipalities who were "recruited" with deception, by offering them work.

It was detailed that the operation was carried out in a building in the La Ladera Grande neighborhood, where they also secured long weapons, short weapons, magazines for long rifles, and 25 sacks of marijuana.

Place of terror where the CJNG carries out crimes

In that same municipality of Lagos de Moreno in June 2020 at least 14 bodies were found in the El Puerto and San Cayetano ranches, located in that area where drug traffickers of the Cartel Jalisco New Generation. They are the group that reigns in this region.

On that occasion, the authorities detailed that in the El Puerto ranch they found the corpses of three men and a woman, each one tied hand and foot. In addition two of them were covered in lime. Apparently in order not to give off bad smells.

Bodies were reported to be on the surface and out in the open, so no excavation work was necessary.

On the other hand, on a hill near the San Cayetano ranch, the Jalisco Attorney General's Office located another 10 bodies in a property called La Cañada. They were also discovered and many of them were just skeletal bones. It is in this area where the Cartel Jalisco New Generation has a wide presence.

  1. From the pictures of the guys caught, looks like the Jaliscas are picking up the homeless of Guanajuato and forcing them to fight for them, also this article mentions minors as young as 13 being tricked into joining their ranks. Jaliscas are pathetic and desperate now.

    1. It’s only a matter of the time, or was, until they ran out of “recruits” from their home state..

Sadly, I believe most of the young and missing (kidnapped) over the years have been forced to either fight for these assholes, or die..

      Cjng cant advance into Michoacan
      They're getting penetrated in jalisco
      Guanajuato is still disputed
Zacatecas is being held by CDS with an iron fist, to sum things up-- jaliscos are flipping.

imagine, sr mencho is probably frustrated with a super low moral.
What significant impact has CJNG really had?? Other than being cornered in Aguaje and aguililla??? Not even the government likes them. Now they have rivals + government harassing CJNG.
      This will not end well.

  11. These Jalisco fools are a bunch of torcidos. They post gardening jobs at the Mexican stores in el Valle and all around California. When people call them for the job, they explain to them that the actual work is in Washington state. They tell the new hires that their lodging is payed for as well as the truck they will need for work. What happens next when they(migrants) get to Washington is that their all out in a low level motel and forced to sell narcotics, nothing over a lbs and nothing under an oz. When the transaction is complete the guy in charged of the op pulls the paisa over take the cash and instruct him to
    Go back to the motel.
