Documents from the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) dated March 20 and 28, 2011 confirm that the commanders of the Sixth Military Zone based in Saltillo and the Piedras Negras Garrison.
At that time under the command of General Luis Cresencio Sandoval, were informed about the kidnappings and mass murders that Los Zetas had just committed in the town of Allende and other municipalities in the north of Coahuila
Despite knowing about these crimes, those military commanders did nothing against the criminal group.
The Allende massacre - in which, according to the families of the victims, there were more than 300 people dead or missing - remained hidden for almost two years. No federal, state or municipal authority officially reported on this.
The documents of Sedena were published by the academic organization National Security Archive (NSA), based in Washington, founded in 1985 by journalists and academics, which houses "the largest collection of declassified documents in the world."
The documents, which are dated March 20 and 28, 2011, in the middle of the "war on drug trafficking" of then President Felipe Calderón. The internal reports of the Sedena recorded the complaints received by the 14th Cavalry Regiment based in Múzquiz from people whose relatives were kidnapped by Los Zetas.
They were taken in groups to the Piedras Negras Garrison, under the command of General Cresencio Sandoval, and to the Sixth Military Zone, then commanded by General Dagoberto Espinosa Rodríguez, current director of the Social Security Institute for the Armed Forces (ISSFAM).
Sedena documents confirm that the commanders of the Sixth Military Zone and the Piedras Negras Garrison, under the command of General Luis Cresencio Sandoval. Were informed about the mass murders of Los Zetas in Allende as well as other municipalities in northern Coahuila, and did nothing.
Two days after Los Zetas razed the town of Allende on March 18, 2011. And attacked the city of Piedras Negras along with several municipalities in northern Coahuila - with more than 300 dead and disappeared, according to civilian testimonies - relatives of victims reported the facts to the 14th Cavalry Regiment, based in Múzquiz.
Which notified these facts to the Sixth Military Zone based in Saltillo and the Piedras Negras Garrison, the latter in charge was General Luis Cresencio Sandoval, current secretary of National Defense.
Despite the gravity of the events, the military did not act and, like the state and federal governments, remained silent.
"March 20, 2011. Allow me to inform the Superiority that on that date, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Mr. (...) appeared to denounce that on March 18 of this year his wife's parents had been kidnapped, as well as five other members of his family.
And that on Saturday, March 19, his son went (...) to verify that information in Rancho Garza, located in Villa Unión, Coahuila, where he didn’t find his relatives.
They communicated by phone at approximately 1:30 p.m. stating that the municipal police had them.
To this date he doesn’t know anything about them and that armed people were in his father's ranch, he proceeded to inform Command 14 RCM authorizing them to go to the area," says the document dated in Allende, Coahuila.
To verify the complaint, three Army units headed by a cavalry lieutenant went out to the scene, who reported to his superiors the existence of looted houses, burned and abandoned ranches, multiple shell casings, as well as vehicles burned and with evidence of gun fire.
A copy of the report was sent to General Luis Cresencio Sandoval, then head of the Piedras Negras Garrison, and to the commander of the Sixth Military Region.
According to the former governor of Coahuila, Humberto Moreira, the current head of Sedena was also in charge of the Piedras Negras prison, where members of Los Zetas incinerated the bodies of their victims.
Why would they its call Mordida. $$$$ talks Bulls--- walks.
ReplyDeleteWhen is the American President going to open the the bridge to B1 & B2
ReplyDeleteIt's ridiculous... You can fly into the country in a small enclosed airplane but you can't cross in your car by your lonesome self... It doesn't make sence... Especially since Texas is pretty much wide open
Delete10:05 hopefully, NEVER!
Delete12:42 texas is not open for everybody, but they welcome coyotes and their central american pollos for benefits of housing them at federal expense and negative propaganda vs Biden from "governor abbott".
Tecas could be working positiverly to improve their energy infrastructure but they chose to approve ted "cancun cruise" travelings...
A tragic event of horrors allowed & permitted by local government / municipal officials.
ReplyDeleteGoes to show how deep corruption goes. Lalo got killed by the zetas. Gov. Moriera couldn't do shit. Still hasn't done shit and will never do shit.
DeleteEven tho Z40 was arrested, he was still given respect by rhe military and walked freely with a high ranking officer through the halls of a marine barracks.
This occurred after his arrest an is infamous to me as far a corruption goes. Even with the marinas.
My uncle hung around 40 during cock fights and horse races in Coahuila. 40 told him that most shootouts with military were because of a few dirty officers.
Delete@2:17 Lazcano paid with his life for ordering the killing of Lalo, not even Calderon knew the MARINA had been sent to kill him
DeleteThe Mexican "Government" should not be recognized by any legitimate government of the World. These Criminal cartels should be declared Terrorist Organizations, and the OAS should send in whatever is necessary to put an end to ALL of this! How many innocents will have to die? How many families ruined, how much property stolen? MAY GOD SAVE MEXICO‼
ReplyDeleteRemember the DEA gave information to the tamaulipas mexican federal police that fed it to the zetas, that the OAS alias OEA is corrupt to the bone, and that AMLO is trying ro change things while swimming with the worse of the piranhas in a sea of shark shit.
DeleteThe US released giniral cienpedos, who was at the time partying with ABL in his yatch in Acapulco, before joining EPN as defense minister after FECAL, genarco garcia luna, EPN and their marinas assassinated el jefe de jefes to show who the boss of all mexican narcos,
This is the end result of when only criminals have guns .
ReplyDelete11:48 ay por favor, Devaney.
DeleteMejor búscate otro trailero que te dé por el kabús
That guy looks like Jerry Lewis
ReplyDeletehayyy pendejo, how can you call a masacre of 300+ as tragic ?...cant believe Humberto Moreira head of prison piedras negras where they burned the bodies is now head of Sedena...el pais es chingado !
ReplyDeleteHumberto "el bertie boy" moreira was made governor by los zetas, but now he wants to wipe his ass with his former military associates to prevent getting arrested for hundreds of years.
DeleteMy parents were born in Mexico and every summer we visited and it we had the times of our lives as kids and young adults. I still love Mexico. However, I’m mortified at the atrocities that are being committed to innocent or even ones in the cartel life. Most are young, uneducated, with zero change at all. I blame the Mexican government. It hurts to stay that it’s a failed state. Yet, I still visit my family in beautiful Jalisco. But, it’s very conflicting.
ReplyDeleteWhere have you been for the last 15 years? You make it sound as if this is new. This massacre happened almost a decade ago.
DeleteI am surprised after many visits to Mexico you made it back alive, Everytime you go your playing Russian roulette with your life.
Delete9:06 chencho sandoval has been denounced since it happened, but SEDENA protected his ass, still does.
Delete9:06 yes I’m quite aware that this has been going on for more then 15 years. My point is not just referring to this particular massacre. It’s simply heartbreaking that a once beautiful country is now this murder center of the world.
Delete9:13 we used to drive there and spend the night by the gas stations while my dad and uncles slept for a while. That’s how safe it was. My parents didn’t have much money so, we didn’t spend money on hotels. But, I remember there were police everywhere and they protected us. We were a bunch of girl teenagers and I remember them saying stay where we can see you. We never had a problem.
Delete5:31 have been going recently or clapped down, I am sure it's super bad right now. Once upon a time...there was this guy that worked at a seafood restaurant in Redlands California he went this past December, yes during the pandemic. He drove in a Clean White newer model Range Rover, headed to Michoacan. He never made it to his town, but they found his SUV, but not him.
DeleteThese things happen and yet they say Mexico isn't a narco state???? 🤦
ReplyDelete2:50 the biggest of the Narco-States, England and the US have been at it since the 1770s, much of that time their local puppets run shit for them in their dominions, even the Nazis had select jews guarding their concentration camps.
DeleteI'd bet chencho's calzones he graduated Escuela de las Americas before getting his promotions and medals and condecoratioms, like Cienpedos.
Organized crime can only exist in complicity with the government.
ReplyDeleteWhen the very top of the government is partnering with the criminals, the criminals can force themselves upon the lower ranks of government (plata or plomo) and honest people/politicians/officials stand no chance.
We see again and again: the very top of Mexican society is the root of the problem. It is the top polticians/ commanders/generals/officials which together rake in billions in bribes that keep the 99% of Mexicans suffering.
Very well said 👍, I have no objections to your comment. Would be great to have it translated into Spanish, mailed to Mexican Embassies, and lastly Almo the enept president of Mexico, wonder what his reaction would be???
Delete4:20 there are not enough bribes in the world, but US complicity in exchange for letting them wet their beaks for crumbs and table scraps moves mountains.
Delete1049 topic is about Mexico, I never saw 420 talking about USA lol.
DeleteThere will be a Netflix series based on this event by the end of the month.
ReplyDeleteChivis were you in coahuila during this massacre? If so what was your experience of seeing in the news or did you actually see anything?
ReplyDeleteLol Chivis not here, on vacation in Norway no TV no wifi time goes slow there.
DeleteThe original article that explains this massacre is the craziest story I have ever read.
ReplyDeleteYou got it Edgar Alvarado, stop staying awake late, it's dangerous out there, they are killing borrachos and pinning Mantas that they come to clean the plaza.
