"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
A new video from the Mexican underworld has just surfaced online. For this broadcast hitmen from the Gulf Cartel (CDG), in alliance with the Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) are disposing of their adversaries with fire in an open field.
An ominous message for the enemy is being spoken. While an enforcer is pouring a flammable liquid from a one gallon container onto a tight firewood stack. Beneath the mound of wood lies an injured Grupo Flechas combatant.
Before their communique concludes the horrific screams of the immolated individual can be heard in the background.

Sicario #1: This will be the fate of everyone who wants to help out the Sinaloa enforcers. For those of you wanting to do a favor for the Sinaloa Cartel. As it is you owe us for that loss we took in Tepetongo. Little by little we are going to turn things around in our favor. DeleteLegalization and regulation is part of the solution but I have to disagree. The crime and violence will not stop. These criminal groups will focus on extortion, kidnapping, theft, human trafficking, sex trafficking and anything that will bring in fast cash. There's something that us as Americans don't want to acknowledge and that's the wage disparity between the U.S and Canada and the rest of Latin America. Latin Americans want the same goods as Americans, if they can't afford these goods because wages are low and the U.S sets price standards then thats when Latin Americans start resorting to crime to afford those goods. Think about it, how is it fair for a Mexican garmet worker to make 500 pairs of Levi's a week and not be able to afford 1 pair with a week's pay? You travel to mexico, stay at a resort and you're paying 200 a night. You're average mexican would not be able to afford that luxury on the wages that they're earning. Why wouldn't a crop picker migrate to the u.s to improve their living standards for the same amount of effort they're exerting in their homeland.... Americans want inexpensive goods at the expense of cheap Latin American labor. Latin Americans want American goods at their cost of living rates. Since Americans aren't making their goods affordable for Latin American countries then that's where the people resort to a life of crime.
