"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
The Tamaulipas State Attorney General's Office reports that a 50-year prison sentence was handed down against María Luisa "R", José Alberto "V" and Jessica "V" for the crime of Aggravated Kidnapping.
A Unitary Prosecution Court issued the sentence after the Agent of the Public Ministry presented elements that reliably proved the responsibility of those convicted today, in the aforementioned crime registered on April 3, 2019 in the Progreso Unit in this municipality.
Likewise, the judicial authority established that María Luisa "R", José Alberto "V" and Jessica "V" must pay a fine of 4 thousand Units of Measurement and Update, equivalent to 337 thousand 960 pesos, receive a public warning, in addition to the suspension of their civil and political rights.
With this type of action, the Attorney General of the State of Tamaulipas, through the public servants that comprise it, reaffirms its commitment to protect the freedom of the inhabitants of the state.
