"Morogris" for Borderland Beat

So far, 163 homicides have been committed in Tijuana this month. The city is one of the most dangerous urban areas in the world.

Three men and a woman were murdered in the last few hours in Tijuana, Baja California. The killers left a threatening message to two of their victims.

According to police reports, it was around 06:00 on Thursday, June 24, someone made an emergency call detailing that there was a shootout on Héctor Luteroth and Julián Navarrete streets in San Luis neighborhood. The municipal police arrived at the scene and confirmed that a man was dead.

"This is going to happen to all the Kapoysen. Support Sinaloa and P 8081", the narcobanner left at the scene read.

The unidentified victim was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, and was covered with a blanket.

In the afternoon, the body of a lifeless woman was found on a dirt road on Mar de Buena Vista and Isla Coronado streets in the Buena Vista neighborhood. The unidentified victim, between 20 and 26 years of age, was wearing denim shorts, a white hoodie, white tennis shoes, and had a tattoo on her arm.

Investigators confirmed that she had blood spots on her head. Ballistic evidence was found at the scene, which suggests the victim was killed there.

Investigators at the scene where the male victim was found inside the 1995 Honda Accord.

Hours later, a dead man was found inside the trunk of a 1995 Honda Accord, model 95, green car. He was also covered in a blanket. The unit was located on Miguel Lira and Gómez Farías streets in Morelos neighborhood, a few blocks away from the military barracks.

A written message was left on the passenger seat:

"There is an owner here. You're next Cuate C, get your shit together. Sincerely, The 4 Letters [CJNG]."

It should be noted that the unit where the body was reported stolen on 17 June 2021.

    1. 10:04 the absence of blockades and check points after all the years of high criminality does make sense, it enables criminals and makes their lives easy, it usually takes a bribe to local police commanders for starters.

    1. 10:29 Tijuana does not have trillions of dollars worth of foreign forces and their sub-contractors with licenses to torture and to kill with impunity from the CIA and winky winks from the US government to the likes of Blackwater mercenaries for decades of state sponsored terror...

    1. AF owns it, cjng is losing big time, they are having a bad month, that may continue into July, they rattled up many Cartels, now facing the fury.
Mencho must be fuming mad in his Fred Flintstone cave.

  5. All these narcomantas are just like advertisements/recruitment marketing. If cartel knows whereabouts of their rivals why can't they confront them with a gang ? They won't because their rival is unarmed public. Real gang will not speak through words, they speak in action. Oh yea it's cjng, they speak in words a lot but very minimal in action. Cartels don't understand that the support of public is essential. Probably cartels are recruiting migrants from Latin America for cheap labour.

    1. Kathi, did you read the article(s) where El Mencho was giving away dishwashers, clothes irons and blenders etc. on Mothers Day? This is hysterical in a crazy way. If I was a mother expected to iron my families clothes, I would celebrate the iron breaking.
The PR stunts are mind boggling, such as the dolls/toys they give to children on Xmas with CJNG emblazoned on the dolls.
      clothes...in pink.
Not one school building or significant structure has been built to help the community...oh wait, Mencho built a kidney dialysis center and tiny clinic for his own use and the Guzmans built a school which was immediately UNfunded (a shell of a building).
With the hundreds of millions these DTO make why are sinking million into their tacky narco-zoos, mcmansion houses, and not doing stuff to rally community support?
As you pointed out, community support is essential, yet they are to busy being greedy scumbags to see the long game/ big picture.

    2. 8:22 Yea I have read those articles and was laughing inside. I presumed people have no choice than accepting those gifts (read as loan for future ransom) and pose like they are receiving medal/Oscar. Such a sad state. Cjng, lfm, kt is doing like a politician/celebrities, publicity dramas. If they really care about public, they won't indulge in kidnapping or stealing from public.

    3. 8:22 international banksters get fined billions of dollars for their drug money laundering, less than 1% of their proceeds, and nobody ever goes to prison.
Cartels have to make do with less than 10% of the money generated by their work, and force sell their share to clients that do not want it, have to pay protection and complicity to government officers, fight the competition to the death and go to prison when their good luck ends.
Bain and co or Bain Capital never was investigated for their billions received from their LatinAmerican investors, they used the billions to invest in US corporations whose business and jobs they offshored to China after bankrupting them and looting their resources with their vulture pirate capitalist management practices.
They are there, easier to locate than cartels' imaginary hundreds of millions of dollars.
