Villahermosa, Tabasco: Prison Riot Between Antagonistic Groups Leads to Massacre

And in other news this afternoon there was a major riot in the Tabasco prison. The balance is at least 6 people dead and 9 injured according to preliminary reports.

Around 6 in the afternoon a fight was reported, a brawl inside the Reintegration Center. The investigations point to two antagonistic groups. The authorities say that they began to fight for control of the jail.

Due to these events an operation was implemented in which elements of the State Police, the General Prosecutor of the State of Tabasco, and the National Guard participated. Moreover they sought to regain order. The injured inmates were transferred to the Gustavo A. Rovirosa regional hospital.

    1. Cartel members have their own clicks formed in jail. Some prison gangs work with some cartels as well.
      It's really hard to tell what goes on becaude of all the confusion but more than likely a prison gang cliked with a cartel wants to dominate the prison.
      I wouldn't know what cartel or prison click dominates or tries to dominate that prison there.

      Prison gangs formed before cartels got there and then some aligned with them. People still confuse prison gangs with street gangs like at 11:41 does.

  7. Mexican prison is no joke. Probably the tougher prison out there or maybe in jails with terrorist groups is Syria or Yemen.
