"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
A new video from the Mexican underworld has just surfaced online. For this broadcast the tail end of someone’s life comes into focus.
A right handed butcher is using a generic 12 inch flexed curve filet knife to remove his victims head. While this happening a narco ballad favoring “El Marro” is playing in the background. The victim is alleged to be an operative for the Cartel Jalisco.
Common knowledge among the hunter gatherers of the world is that filet knives are built to operate in wet conditions, the materials utilized in their construction are specifically made for this very reason.
It’s unknown why this man chose to use this tool given that these blades are meant to to be used on small game or fish. But there has been speculation for the longest that the purpose of using certain inanimate objects is to prolong their victims suffering.
This victim as well as others, including a female have been found within neighboring towns. A radius of a little more than a 100 miles separates each fatality. The cities of Celaya, Penjamo, and Acambaro are the dumping grounds where they were discovered.
The Cartel Santa Rosa de Lima currently being led by an individual known as “El M1” is said to be responsible for their deaths and dismemberments.
Narco messages left behind by his gunmen were found next to some of the victims. The following is a translation of one such directive:
