"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
In black plastic bags, the human remains of a male person were abandoned in the streets of Orizaba, on Thursday afternoon.
Neighbors of 2nd Street and 3rd Avenue of the Rafael Alvarado neighborhood of this city, reported to 911, the presence of black plastic bags from where red liquid, apparently blood emanated.
Immediately security forces moved to the site of the discovery, where elements of the Municipal Police of Orizaba and the Secretariat of Public Security attached to the Delegation of Ciudad Mendoza confirmed the facts.
After cordoning off the area, they requested the presence of personnel from the Prosecutor's Office of Orizaba as well as experts in criminalistics from Expert Services
The area was closed off for vehicle traffic and the chain of custody was placed to avoid contaminating the crime scene.
After collecting evidence, the staff of the Prosecutor's Office ordered the personnel of expert services to remove the bags with human remains to be transferred to the Forensic Medical Service of Orizaba for the reconstruction of the body and try to give identity to the person.
In addition to be identified by his relatives; of these facts an investigation folder was opened.
