"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
In the early hours of Thursday, two paramedics were executed and their ambulance was set on fire.
It was at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday that contact was lost with two paramedics from the Health Services of Jalisco (SSJ) who had made a transfer from Huejuquilla el Alto, Jalisco, to the municipality of Fresnillo, in Zacatecas; the medical unit never returned to its base.
Hours later, an ambulance abandoned on fire was reported near the La Florida community, belonging to the municipality of Valparaíso; next to it were two paramedical men with no vital signs and with multiple gunshots.
It was elements of the Preventive Police who found the location of the crime scene.
In a statement, the government of the neighboring state of Jalisco condemned the unfortunate events and reiterated its willingness to collaborate with the Zacatecan authorities to clarify the double homicide as soon as possible.
Looks like cds work. Innocent souls.. if it had been cjng, they would have made a video and say list of drama dialogues. Something fishy on why ambulance were targeted, maybe through which cjng/cds send mens/arms/loads.. maybe those 2 night had something in their possession

DeleteAt 2:18, wow, please read the article, they were making a transfer as medics do in their job. What do you mean that "maybe those 2 had something in their possession?" Why is it that to some readers here that everyone that gets murdered by cartel means that the victim did something wrong; I mean, is that really what you were implying? Another more likely scenario is that they were killed because they refused to allow themselves to become drug mules and or to have the ambulance used for drug transfer. By God, they were medics, does anyone in this world still believe that there are good people in Mexico that become victims to the cartels? Look at Reynosa, come on, look, do you see what the cartel did and admitted to?
Delete9:50 Not always. There is a difference between CDS and other cartels. I don't think cds will kill people unless they cross in their business line. However other cartels feel like an achievement killing innocent people's.

It seems like they were "transferred" there to gather intel. It's just my humble opinion. I mean what a coincidence that they both were from Huejuquilla el Alto,Jalisco and got "transferred" to Fresnillo, Zac, a CDS strong hold. Seems they found out and eliminated the threat. That's my guess. I might be wrong my gut tells me otherwise.
