Gunmen for Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes AKA "El Mencho" have disseminated pamphlets confirming their stay within the city of Zitacuaro and its surroundings.
El Mencho is wanted for drug trafficking, organized crime involvement, and illegal possession of firearms.
Nemesio Oseguera is reportedly responsible for coordinating drug trafficking operations in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. Under his command, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) became one of Mexico's leading criminal organizations.
This communique is being made known to the entire population where we have a presence within the different municipalities such as Zitácuaro, Tuxpan, Ocampo, Aporo, Angangueo, Jungapeo, Sengulo, Maravatio, Contepec, Tlapujahua, Ciudad Hidalgo, Zinapecuaro, Querendaro, and Indaparapeo. As well as the surrounding towns.
We, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) have not withdrawn, nor will we withdraw from these areas. This message is being made due to the multiple calls that the population has received from La Familia Michoacána, led by Lalo Mantecas AKA "El 100".
In alliance with the Correa brothers from Ciudad Hidalgo. They’re making the population believe that we, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, are going to leave these areas to them, that we are going to withdraw. That is a total lie because we are currently sitting in the villages and we’re not going to withdraw.
Therefore, all the aforementioned municipalities have been made aware that this area has an owner. Citizens don't allow yourselves to be fooled by them, don't allow them to pretend to be us. Why don't you raise your flag?
Likewise citizens of transportation enterprises and those who sell poultry, don't pay their protection fee. Don’t spy for those scumbags who don’t even have anything worth offering.
Don’t allow yourselves to be deceived by them. We don't have a need to be charging anyone a protection fee. We have more than enough balls and money to exist here. The absolute 4 letters cartel is in charge here and will continue to reign in charge.

People on donkeys with layered Z cut hairdos. Cartels infringing on activists, logging and drug dealing. Go there and take a trip up the mountain, and you get it. Safe for sure, but aware there is an under-current.
